    Aziz is hilarious.

by SS24 on 11/22/10Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

That pretty much sums it up. He was really good about not using any of his old stuff but building off of it. For example, he brought up Harris, Kanye, and R. Kelly, but talked about his newest interactions with him. The opening guy, Harris Widower, was pretty funny too but Aziz definitely killed.

Very funny!! My boyfriend and I were laughing the whole time!! Though a small peice of the material was repeated from a show we saw him at in April, it was still a great time.

Aziz was good, but Hannibal stole the show

by JAKNYC on 11/8/10Beacon Theatre - New York

I was extremely excited to see Aziz Ansari live. I went with three of my friends, who were as eager as I. Aziz was good, but not great. His timing and juvenile likability kept him fresh and funny, but when he started talking about Harris, Darwish, Kanye and R Kelly, it was reminiscent of when Dane Cook started referencing his old material as his go to joke. Aziz can still turn it around and not repeat the mistakes of Cook by not referencing his cousins. The audience knows these stories aren't real anymore. The new material was really good though, and should have been focused on or expanded upon instead of going back to the "Harris likes cinnabun" well. The real treat was being privy to the comedy of Hannibal Buress. A new writer to the show "30 Rock" was hilarious. I found myself on the verge of rolling our of my chair and upsetting the people in front of me. I would be very willing to go see him do stand up in the near future. If you get the chance to do so, I highly suggest you do.

    Laugh So Hard You Cry

by Anonymous on 11/8/10Beacon Theatre - New York

Aziz Ansari's particular brand of self-deprecating humor played well to his NYC Audience. The entire Beacon Theatre was buckled over in laughter as he shared his thoughts on dating, his cousin Harris, and R. Kelly.

    The jokes were on point!

by Jude87 on 11/8/10Beacon Theatre - New York

Overall, the show was hilarious. Hannibal, the opening act was totally funny. Aziz was fantastic with his interpretations, some sarcastic humor, and the piece de resistance, his last joke of the evening (which I won't give away). My only issue, was the show didn't start on time and I felt like Aziz was only on stage for a little over an hour vs. 2 hrs.

    The show was INCREDIBLE

by MattKelly on 11/8/10Beacon Theatre - New York

Aziz was very funny. Obviously he was great. I wanted to use the review to talk about the opener, Hannibal Burress. He was incredible. He had a great command of the audience and his delivery was so fast and intelligent. He should come back for more shows. I would like to see him headline.
