The show’s main story is told in English, making it difficult for non English speakers to understand. It has great moments that mix technology, magic tricks and acrobatic feats worth seeing. One of the best shows in Las Vegas.
I would not recommend this show. There are so many better shows in Vegas. The positive was the production and the stage and some of the visuals. But the storyline was so cheesy, the acting was bad, and there just wasn’t any wow factor. There was a few acrobatic things that were cool but other than that, it was a lot of weird dancing that almost seemed sacrilegious. Do yourself a favor and skip this show and see a cirque show or absinthe.
I’d heard a lot about the Awakening, but it’s something you have to see to understand.
The minute me and my wife walked in the theatre,we were impressed with the decor and relaxing music. We loved all the costumes and effects so realistic beautiful dances music every second we were breathless with all the colors and effects. We recommend this show to all ages.They should makw more shows like this. Thank you.
Thought the storyline was really bad. The stage was cool but dancing also quite forgettable. Would not recommend.
I have no words to describe this show.... My mind is still blown away. Loved the story, the stage, the costumes, the acrobatics, the special effects, I mean... I loved absolutely everything. Can't get over it. Wow.
Awakening is absolutely stunning — a perfect mix of breathtaking visuals, incredible performances, and a truly immersive stage design. The choreography, music, and effects are flawless, making it one of the most unique and unforgettable shows in Las Vegas. A must-see!
Such an amazing experience, with all the lights, costuming, and production. Really beautiful job! It combines all the best things of a Vegas show! I’ve seen it twice and would see it again!
The Show was awesome 100 out of 100 to go see. I have been wanting to go for a few years but the price stopped me - I had a (small) discount come across my feed so I decided to treat myself (still was 190 for 2 people and that was a rear seat even though it was theater in the round) The theater was about 1/3rd empty - the cast still delivered but the venue let them down. 1/3rd of the seats filled at even 50 or 60 each is a whole lot better than 1/3rd the seats at 0
It's a beautiful and well-done show. Beautiful scenery. Very professional dancers. But the acrobatics are a bit lacking. I was left hoping for more. And I must say, I fell half asleep toward the end of the show.
Totally worth it! Production was there from the start, awesome costumes, great soundtrack and choreographed by Mandy Moore who choreographed the Eras Tour!
I have seen all the cirq shows in Vegas. This is not made by cirque du soleil but it is similar. The venue at the wynn in wonderful and very comfortable and classy like the rest of the resort. It is round so all the seats have good view of the stage. There are no bad seats here. Show has a nice balance of dancing and some acrobatics telling a story of earth, fire and water. Very appropriate for families with teenagers.
The intense training to stay in shape & keep practicing the precision exhibited must be both exhausting & exhilarating as well! The people behind the scenes, both technical & maintenance also deserve much credit to keep all of these apparatus in good, safe working conditions!! All in all, they’re hard work shows every night consistently for many years!! Congratulations!
Vegas isn't really my scene as I don't gamble or stay up late. I was in town for a conference and decided to check out the entertainment. Although Awakening was a big production, the theater was relatively small, so it was an up-close experience. The costumes were out of this world in creativity, the music and dances exciting and emotional. I loved how the round (and moving) stage brought the show to everyone in the house, and the multiple entrances and exits to the stage made you feel as if you were in the environments, not just looking at them on a flat plane. The storytelling was simple and familiar, the hero's journey of a young woman who feels she is not ready for the task at hand. I really enjoyed this show and would recommend it for any age.
This show had everything to make this a winner: lights, stage, sound, cast The possibilities offer d by the technology available in this theatre are endless. But a lame story, incredibly poor dialogues and horrific songs absolutely ruin it all. Really sad for a cast and technical team that does try to give it all, but the material isn’t just there. The theatre was half empty. Tells it all!
Awakening Show was outstanding ! The lights, the music, the performers, and the history — everything was wonderful.
So many favorite things! Visuals and costumes were amazing, imaginary & innovative. Each entertainer was incredibly talented and engaging!!
Better than we thought....amazing from start to finish
I had an open night and came upon this. Read up on it and decided to check it out. Glad I did! It was a very well put together, entertaining show! Very imaginative and well choreographed! Side note: if you get the buffet option with your ticket, just know that you will NOT be served food during the show. You get a voucher to go to the buffet BEFORE the show (go to the box office). So get there early enough to do this! Great buffet also, btw!
