I’m talking about real grown folks music y’all! My oldest daughter agreed to accompany me to the show. The show was better than I imagined! She is a real person with high energy that she spread to the audience. Her husband is on lead guitar (did his thing) great story teller too, son on drums Berkeley grad w/ no debt, bass guitarist Morehouse grad. Congratulations on Grammy nomination, especially as independent! Clinton Babers opened for her. He engaged the audience as an acoustic artesian. Hadn’t heard of him before the show, however he is on my radar now. He discussed lyrics that we are drawn to and challenged the audience to come up with songs on specific topics. This was my second trip to Mars Music Hall. Kudos to the city of Huntsville, AL for a wonderful venue! We ate at the Rhythm on Monroe, restaurant that is in the same building. It was on the higher dollar side for dinner entrees, however staff is friendly & professional. They cook in-house and not just warmup food like the average chain does. I will be back. We had a great time!
