About

Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert presents a live orchestral rendition of the series' iconic soundtrack, paired with a two-hour special recap of the animated series' three seasons displayed on a full-size cinema screen. The projection will feature the original dialogue and sound effects without any pre-recorded music, allowing the live orchestra to perform the legendary score live and in perfect sync with the show's favorite scenes. The result? A truly immersive and grandiose concert experience that breathes new life into Avatar: The Last Airbender.

A Peabody and Emmy® Award-winning series, Avatar: The Last Airbender follows the adventures of the main protagonist Aang and his friends, who must defeat Fire Lord Ozai and end the Hundred-Year War to restore balance to the Four Nations. Taiko and erhu will share the spotlight with violins and clarinets, while the series' most beloved scenes play out on the big screen, bringing viewers into the Avatar world to experience the series' most memorable moments with Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Zuko and more.

The creative mastermind behind the show's original music, Emmy Award-winning composer and musician Jeremy Zuckerman, has poured his heart and exceptional talent into expanding his compositions for the concert series. • An awesome experience for any ATLA fan

by T. on 8/28/24DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

I’d never been to an orchestra performance before, but this was definitely something else. The music of ATLA is so unique and beautifully composed, and hearing it live was absolutely amazing. What a talented orchestra! It surprised me how many of them switched between instruments seamlessly, and it was so interesting to see what instruments created the songs—some of them I’d never seen before! It was so cool! And of course, watching scenes from the show play during the performances was so fun. Hearing the theme and credits songs? Thrilling. Hearing the music as Yue sacrifices herself? Haunting. Hearing Leaves From The Vine? Devastating. Hearing the music of Appa’s Lost Days? Crushing. Hearing the epic music from the finale? Astonishing. I enjoyed every minute, and I’d definitely go again!

Although the TV show is for kids, little kids might not be as entertained by an orchestra, but anyone 10 and older will love the experience. Phenomenal. Great music selections.

  • Saw this in San Francisco

by Maruuska on 4/17/24Rating: 5 out of 5

I went to this concert with my daughter in San Francisco, not really knowing too much about it. I did remember her and her older sister watching the show and i would watch with them but not really paying attention, my mistake ! I was pleasantly surprised by this show and I am going to see it again! Highly recommend it
