  • Fun Time!

by Rob on 12/12/23Amerant Bank Arena - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

You can't go wrong with this yearly event. Not too many people attend with quality games. My only grip would be that Only Floridan teams would attend. Or have another for non-Floridan teams as well. This was my 5th year. Keep them coming. Very Enjoyable. Thanks. And thank you Florida for coming back.

  • Not needed

by Veas on 12/20/22FLA Live Arena - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

Disappointed with outside features shutting down early as a major excitement for my 5 year old grandson. Weather was not great yet good enough to go to game. Game itself was good experience. 19$ hamburger. 10$ hot dog. 74$ tickets cost 137$. Families cannot enjoy that way. 2 grandchildren and wife.

  • Bball

by Ruged on 12/20/22FLA Live Arena - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

I just have a few complaints. The on floor announcer was obnoxious. It was not a wrestling event. The other problem was with the scoreboard person not knowing which team was scoring and keeping up with the changes to the lineups on the scoreboard. Otherwise it was an enjoyable event with an exciting finish to the first game.

  • Great arena

  • The Welfare of Visitors and Staff was not taken into account

    by wcl703 on 12/20/22FLA Live Arena - SunriseRating: 2 out of 5

The management of the Arena refused to take an interest in the customers or even their own security staff. We arrived only to see several hundred people trying to get cover for the rains started. They refused to allow people to take cover near the front doors. Instead they had set up a huge area away from the doors in the rain. Once inside i went to the confessions stand. I got a bottle of Diet Coke, Popcorn and a Hot Dog, $30 .50! The game was great, we left after game #1 because I didn’t want to get a home equity to get additional concessions! Never again!

  • Great time besides UCF losing 🤣

by Zhechler on 12/20/22FLA Live Arena - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

Actually had a very nice time at the event. Both games were great to watch and had a couple of cute vendors at the game. First time sitting really close to the court so it was a cool experience just not cool losing to a buzzer beater 3 pointer

  • Great Experience

by GatorMan on 12/21/21FLA Live Arena - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

I know the 2nd game was cancelled due to COVID protocols, but the event was still fabulous. It was wonderful to see the Gator basketball team in South Florida. My friend and I also felt very safe. The arena was very clean, the staff was helpful, and people social distanced as much as possible. I love the Fla Live Arena, and I love the Orange Bowl Basketball Classic. Let's hope the pandemic is finally behind us by next year's event. My clear bag was too large to bring in, but the staff was extremely nice about everything. I have to commend the staff of the FLA Live Arena for being friendly and helpful.

  • Depressing

    by Steve1950 on 12/24/19BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 2 out of 5

Poorly attended and run effort to display non conference college basketball. Needs bands and cheerleaders. Make it a best of Florida. Thursday night two semifinals of best four teams in Florida. Saturday consolation round and final. Use upper decks for every middle school, high school boys and girls teams in Monroe, Dade, Broward, Martin St Lucie counties. Fill the place up even if it means giving tickets away. Let the bands and cheerleaders make some noise. Sell college gear. Contests should be between contestants from rival schools. Let the frats and sororities compete for charity. Make it fun! Open up the full concessions. Put toilet paper and paper towels in the rest rooms. Run it like a real event.
