Would have loved another hour to hear Augusten's thoughts on politics, etc. His past has been done but would like to know who he feels is the craziest right winger.Among other things. An hour was not nearly enough time.

But I loved his talk at UB. He is funny but serious and enlightening all at once.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Augusten was amazing!!!
by pennylane31268 on 10/24/10University At Buffalo Center for the Arts - BuffaloAugusten Burroughs is one of my favorite authors so just being able to see him/hear him talk was enough for me, but he was funny, witty, insightful, .... I enjoyed his talk immensely. I think it was very rude of the people that walked out during his talk and I hope that he would forgot about that unfortunate incident when considering coming back in the future. The greatest part was actually meeting him during the book signing and getting to ask him a question and have my picture taken. He is a wonderful writer and beautuiful person. I am so glad I had the opportunity to finally meet one of my heros. I also enjoyed the pre event tour of the backstage and mainstage and the costume areas. It's cool when you get to see what it takes to put on a perfomance, all the hard work and detail that goes into it. The wine and appetizers were nice as well. All in all I had a wonderful unforgettable evening. By the way this was my first time seeing a production at the Center for The Arts, it will def not be my last ,I plan on coming back to see the Nutcracker in Dec!! and the Zodiac dancers as well!! thank for an enjoyable evening!
