New Orleans R&B singer/songwriter August Alsina's debut single "I Luv This Sh*t" was all over the radio in late 2013, reaching the top of Billboard's Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart after a 21-week climb. Alsina may be new to the game, but he's already attracting high-level attention – R&B superstar R. Kelly tapped Alsina to open for him on some of his 2013 live tour dates, so the young star has already found himself playing concerts to arena-sized crowds. As a headliner, Alsina established himself as a formidable performer at raucous club dates and radio station showcases in 2013, impressing ticket buyers with a confidence that belied his relatively recent arrival. The hip-hop crooner's career has been on the fast track since he released his first mixtape The Product in April of 2012. A second mixtape, dubbed The Product 2 was released a year later, followed soon after by his first Def Jam Records EP Downtown: Life Under the Gun. In a report on one of Alsina's 2013 shows, The New York Daily News wrote that he "had ladies in the front row clawing at him as he rocked the stage."

It's was a unforgettable moment ! August gave a great show that I will always remember. I have been watching the videos from the concert over and over since that night. I will definitely be at the next August show near me ! I love everything about him and his music, salute to him. ❤️
Despite the opening acts (like 7 acts) the show was amazing when he finally came on. He even performed pornstar! I cant wait until the tour! I been to three shows already and I never not enjoy it. Plus he remembers faces!
This concert was my first concert and I got to see my favorite artist, august alsina. He is amazing and sounded just as good singing live. I was very pleased to hear him sing. He had so much passion behind his voice and from what I can see from his time on stage has an amazing personality and a heart of gold. The only complaint I have was the amount of performances before him was a bit much, it took a long time for him to come on stage. But it was well worth the wait. Luckily this was a standing event so we were very close, in arms length to the stage. We were very close for a good price. I really love August. BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE! :)
I LOVED the show. From beginning to end. I've never been to a concert I'm my 21 years of life and for me to go and be front row was just amazing. I almost cried when he came out and I nearly fainted when I grabbed his hand. He's down to earth and very talented. I love him. He definitely has to come back to DC soon.
His performance was amazing, he's got character, a GREAT VOICE and stage presence. I loved every minute. he even cracked jokes which i loved.
ALL and I mean ALL the opening acts sucked! Why we're most of them singing songs that weren't theirs? Why did they put them on for almost 3 hours of torture? The crowd kept boo-ing them.
His voice sounded amazing! He looked amazing! He out on an amazing show! Showed plenty of love to his fans
This experience was horrible . The place was too hot. People under age were intoxicated. And he had twenty opening acts for him to perform for only 30 mins.
August is the new face of RnB. Real Dude. Real Music. Real heart. Real honest. Stay tuned because this dude has a great career ahead of him.
Thoroughly enjoyed August Alsina's set. He is a great artist with a great voice, and his story is real! However the opening acts had more time on stage than he did. I came to see him perform not 4/5 other people. That was just waaaaay too many opening acts.
He has a voice unlike any other. He did his thang. I just wish he would of taken his shirt off and showed his tattoos ;)
This event was had at a decent spot, doors opened at 8 we got there at 9:30 and danced and he showed up and performed maybe 4 snippets of songs at 1:30am. Wish he performed more. Still had a great time out tho!!! Wasnt worth what i paid.
The venue lied about the time August was coming so my friends and I were standing for 6 1/2 hours waitinf on August. But once he finally came out he was amazing!!
The concert took forever to start and bring him out but once he came on stage the night was unbelievably amazing and unforgettable.
The event was amazing. Loved the energy from all of the performers, esp Sebastian. He had great eye contact with the audience. I sear I felt like he was singing directly to me. Price and seats were great. The only thing is that there were not enough VIP seats. I wish they would have more tickets for that, I wouldn't have mind paying extra.
When i purchased the tickets from tickeymaster the seats said they would be able to meet the artist, get an autograph with teeshirt, i was extremely disappointed because they ushered us out of the venue. Very, very disappointed. Fyi he was alnost 2 hours late.
August is such an amazing artist . Very talented. He sings about the truth and only the truth so he is very relatable. As he performs on stage he always interacts with his fans which is really exciting. After all of his shows all his fans leave with a smile on their face .
