NOT BAD, event did make me laugh! However was disappointing. Augie didn't have a gig of his own! Frank, Bullia, and Andy was Hilarious! We picked great seating...but the entertainment hardly was on our side they mostly was more to the middle and left of stage(facing ocean) then the right of stage. The ushers need to do their job, We complained about someone( a passer by) blocking our view. The usher said he is only there for awhile(this area was right behind stage seats, where there was rope to line a boundry. AUWE!! I think I just going buy lawn tickets too next time and stand close to the stage , NO WORRIES! WOW LAULAU NO CAN LADAT!! shaking my head!!

Hoping for a better show next year!

by TsuboOne on 8/5/15Waikiki Shell - Honolulu

Since this was a fun raiser for BRAVE, I expected more info about the cause during the event. I only saw Augie's daughter come out once when it was obvious that more people were coming in throughout the show. As a family friendly event, I felt that there were many inappropriate statements made in some of the acts. I saw many families with children leaving. I would have also like to have a variety of genre of music.

    Augie T was excellent!

    by started1 on 8/5/15Waikiki Shell - Honolulu

Laugh Under the Stars was truly awesome! The only thing that I would change is the time it started, it was so hot at 5 pm, much better after the sun went down. Looking forward to next year. Enjoyed the mixture of comedy and music.

    More music than comedy

    by Kehau30 on 8/4/15Waikiki Shell - Honolulu

It was advertised as a comedy but it really was more of a music concert. The bands were great but I was expecting to laugh more. Augie, Frank and Andy were hilarious. Bu La'ia was TOO racist and I'm Hawaiian. I wanted to laugh, not discuss sovereignty and bash Haoles.

    More comedy!!

by kaijay on 8/4/15Waikiki Shell - Honolulu

I thought the idea of having comedy AND music was great BUT I personally think they should have had the comedians on for a longer time period and cut down on the music. It would have been much more enjoyable if the comedians stayed on longer. But overall.. it was a fun night.

    new and old faces

    by menehune808 on 8/4/15Waikiki Shell - Honolulu

expecting to come for lots of laughs and music, yet i experienced high emphasis on new local artists music and less emphasis on comedy stand up, whose performances received about 15 minutes each. songs became monotonous after the first couple bands, although each band 's first was fresh and feel-good. i expected augie t to stand up a lot more considering his face was all over the print advertisements, but not so much. i appreciate his humor and honesty in the issues over same-sex marriage and the respect for LGBT community including his sons. overall i supported this event because his daughter raised funds to deter bullying in schools for whatever reason.

Laugh Under the Stars was meh...

by PonoSteph on 8/4/15Waikiki Shell - Honolulu

Augie T's 1st ever Laugh Under the Stars was okay, it could of course use tweaks and pulls here and there. Such as: More comedians with longer bits...my hubby and I thought we were going to see more comedic acts, though the comedians that were there were good and very noteworthy (for our island) it felt like they weren't the high light of the show and their bits were just too short. Bula'ia by far was the best, and it was both nostalgic and hilarious to see him back doing what I believe he does best. Andy, Uncle Frank and Buggah Buggah were great too, but again way too short, and MORE Augie would've been nice too!. I would've loved to have seen Da Braddahs, Kaleo Pilanca or other up and coming comedy acts since that's what I thought I was gonna be doing..."Laughing Under the Stars", but instead it seemed to have more musical entertainment or they should just change the name to Laughing and Skanking Under the Stars. Overall okay show, I probably wouldn't go back unless they changed the lineup a bit, but I will say that me & the hubby noticed how hard Augie worked to put this show together, I know I could never do something like that and I'm just sitting here criticizing perhaps very small inconsequential things, but you asked for a review so here you go. Mad props for Augie and the whole team who put it together, and it was the first one so hopefully it just keeps getting better and better from there.

    Augie T is everyone's friend

by Skipwolf on 8/27/14Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

Augie T makes everyone feel like his friend, and everyone knows he's genuine. You come away from the show not just having rolled in the aisles and laughed your heart out, but with a warm good feelings buzz that stays with you - and all the more so it's a great bonding experience for our families. Augie's such a positive guy, and whenever you recall one of his lines, you can't help just busting out laughing when you wake up in the middle of the night, and then you feel positive, good. What a great role model in these times we live in!

    Augie T was hilarious

by Kauluhala on 8/26/14Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

Auntie T had me laughing through his entire set. At times it was hard to breathe because I was laughing so hard. I can't remember the last time I had that much fun. My sides were sore the next day from laughing so much. My son and I were fortunate enough to get front row seats on ticketmaster and were able to see all of Augie's facial expressions while he was delivering his jokes and funny interpretations of life's events. I think his unique style of local comedy can be enjoyed by all. If you have a chance to see Augie T I'd recommend it.

    Painfully Funny!

by Kehau30 on 8/26/14Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

Augie should advertise this show as an exercise program. My stomach muscles were in pain after the show from laughing so much. Such a Blast! Oh but I do have one complaint, the DJ played the music WAY TOO LOUD
