ATREYU IN CONCERT:
Atreyu has been bringing the metalcore mayhem to stages big and small for nearly two decades, and they're as brutal as ever in the wake of 2015's acclaimed Long Live LP. In concert the band is a maelstrom of sonic ferocity, unleashing searing guitar riffs, undulating basslines, and blistering blast beats that always get fans thrashing. Frontman Alex Varkatzas leads the headbanging charge, issuing guttural growls and searing screams while he stalks around the stage with rabid intensity. The rest of the band is a well-oiled machine, alternating between hard-charging passages and heavy breakdowns with dizzying virtuosity. As the action in the pit heats up during favorites like "Falling Down" and "Becoming the Bull," fans can't help but get swept up in the adrenaline-fueled frenzy Atreyu whips up.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Atreyu formed in Orange County, CA in 1998 and hit the ground running with the EP Visions, a collection of seven hardcore punk-influenced tracks that they sold at their early shows. After releasing a second EP in 2001, the band signed with Victory Records and dropped their 2002 debut album Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses. The video for album single "Lip Gloss and Back" got significant airplay on MTV's Heabangers Ball, and the exposure paved the way for the success of the band's 2004 sophomore album The Curse, which sold more than 450,000 copies and cracked the Top 40 on the Billboard 200. The band's third album A Death-Grip on Yesterday was an even bigger success, topping the Rock and Hard Rock charts and drawing them out for extensive touring. Since then Atreyu has remained a metalcore mainstay thanks to their hard-hitting live shows and potent albums like 2015's Long Live.

I always like HOB venue cause it’s more personal and I always get there early enough to be close enough! This last show I was at the rail and had the best time of my life! Best Atreyu show I have been too! The guys are always so awesome at the meet and greets. I wish I could go to everyone. 10/10 longest, best just all the good things. They need to headline there way more often!
This concert was amazing! Seen from the barricade, my experience was a good one considering I am 67 years old and dodging crowd surfers and people trying to push to the front. I know several people who think the band is not worth coming to see because Alex is no longer with the band, but I LOVE the newer stuff and enjoyed hearing the old stuff with the new-ish singer. You won’t regret giving them a chance moving forward. Atreyu lit the stage, had the crowd in a frenzy and it was obvious they were excited about being there as well. Kudos to this band…my experience was top notch!
I’ve listened to them for I think over 20 years now and have seen them 4-5 times. They’re still one of my top favorite bands. From a troubled teen, to adult, to becoming a Christian and single daddy of 3. Still a fan always.
Had not seen Atreyu in over 10 years, but they did not disappoint. Lot of energy, fan interaction, and ran into the lead singer in the parking garage after the show and was great about taking pictures! Great band, great music, and great venue on a trip to Vegas!
Bon de la première à la dernière seconde ! Très proches de leur public. À voir et revoir ... et à revoir !
Best show have See !!!! Atreyu is my favorite group !!!!!!!
As expected, Atreyu put on a great show. Played some old songs that I wasn't expecting and was super happy for that. Great stage performance, nice intimate venue, overall 10/10 show.
I've seen Atreyu nearly a dozen times and they continue to bring it, are heavy and energetic as they've ever been, and play tight as a band. Such a fun night and awesome setlist
They have a lot of fun on stage, teasing each other and involving the crowd! They sounded amazing! Would definitely try to see them again.
