About

For over two decades, Atmosphere has maintained a course of rigorous output, releasing over two dozen studio albums, EP's and collaborative side projects in as many years. In that time, the venerated duo have built a legacy out of bringing honesty, humility and vulnerability to the forefront of their music, continually challenging themselves to evolve without straying too far from their roots. Slug has proven masterful at storytelling and writing compelling narratives, leaving a trail of his own influence while paying homage to the rappers and songwriters that helped shape him. Ant has skillfully molded the soundtracks with inspiration from soul, funk, rock, reggae, and the wizardry of hip-hop's pioneering DJ's and producers, creating his own trademark sounds while providing the pulse for songs about life, love, stress and setbacks. At its essence, Atmosphere has been a musical shepherd, and with each new album comes a new journey as they guide generations of listeners through this thing called life.

  • Atmosphere never disappoints!

by Jody on 11/19/23The Observatory North Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Slug & Ant & Hebl really turned it up! Sound was great in The Observatory. Plenty of room. There was a group of kids called No Fun who opened up. Then Hebl (DJ) played a short set. Then Atmosphere. They played all their best songs. I never miss them when they roll through.

  • Top 10%? Probably not #1, but definitely top 2!

    "Seasoned""veteran""performer"Slug is a true artist.

Really enjoyed Slug and Ant with Atmosphere. Great venue, great vibe. I've wanted to see them for years but always sell out. Highly recommend.

  • Outstanding

This show gave the whole audience catharsis and reprieve and joy. Atmosphere's 25 odd years is easy to spot in terms of how deftly they engaged with the audience, and they've also managed to stay innovative and fresh. I'd had a rough week, and this was exactly what I needed.

  • Incredible show

I saw Atmosphere live for the 4th time a few days ago and they were incredible. I'm definitely looking forward to the next show.

  • Dream come true

    by Shook1 on 11/18/23The Bellwether - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

The Bellwether was the perfect place for an intimate and amazing Atmosphere show. This venue provided the setting for true fans to get a close up experience and chance to enjoy the music fully. Getting to meet Ant and Slug after the show was truly a lifetime opportunity.

  • Amazing Always….

    by xpressionwitwords09 on 11/18/23The Bellwether - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show….a bit of bias I think since it is a HipHop show and in my personal opinion don’t compare to many other shows. It was a raw performance, great interaction and amazing sound! Slug once again amazed….even though in my opinion he was a bit under the weather and/or tired…fatigued he performed every song(long set) with incredible passion. Will attend as many as I can for as long as I can. Only downside is he didn’t see my Dinospectrum shirt lol

  • Amazing 🎵 concert

    by Moni12 on 11/18/23The Bellwether - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Had an amazing time. It was raining so they let us in to the venue. Had music playing. Merch booth open and the bar open. Had such a fun time always a good time when you make party with atmosphere. Never disappoints. The “ATMOSPHERE” was amazing with everyone partying together. Definitely waiting patiently for the next show.

  • Crammed in like Sardines but Amazing Show

by Devbot on 11/16/23Ace of Spades - SacramentoRating: 3 out of 5

I love this venue. The sound has really improved over the years, the bar lines are short but man o man it has become crowded! To the point where the only place you can stand to get some space is in a bathroom stall. I’d love for the capacity to be cut back a bit just so people had a little breathing room.

  • It was beyond great

    by Se7en on 11/16/23Ace of Spades - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

Slug came out and greeted us all in line didn’t expect that this time but it was amazing only thing is we would like if you guys added where we can park

  • So good

by Faith on 11/12/23Knitting Factory - Spokane - SpokaneRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve seen Atmosphere at the knit here in Spokane 4 times and 2 times at the pavilion and this show was really well done and more packed than the others before! Security was on point. Shout out to the girl who had to chase me down and grab my arm to take me out of VIP. We almost made it but she got it handled 🙌🏼

  • Best show!!

by Inside outsider on 11/10/23Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Slug and Ant killed it, as always! Great set list and great opening. Been a fan since I was in high school and finally got to see them live! Best day

  • Knitting factory is terrible

by Maggiemayhem on 11/8/23Knitting Factory - Spokane - SpokaneRating: 1 out of 5

Atmosphere was amazing as he always is!! No complaints on Atmosphere or his opening band no fun. But for real and honestly…The knitting factory sound and space sucks for Atmosphere. And they kick people out for the stupidest things… the sound is not great in that tiny space. Plus they were turning people away due to compacity issues Please choose a different venue next time, or come in the summer and play outside again. Spokane loves atmosphere!! We will always show up for him.

This was my 5th time seeing Atmosphere!! And I am blown the heck away every single time. We got to meet Slug finally in Portland Maine! It was beyond everything we imagined it would be! Thank you so much for makin music.

  • Best show ever

    by A love on 9/3/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Had room to dance and sing along to all of my favorite songs. Slug from atmosphere is so personable with the crowd and the most brilliant lyricist. Ant’s beats are incredible. I got to see the show with my brother we grew up on their music. It was the best night! Thank you!!
