About

For over two decades, Atmosphere has maintained a course of rigorous output, releasing over two dozen studio albums, EP's and collaborative side projects in as many years. In that time, the venerated duo have built a legacy out of bringing honesty, humility and vulnerability to the forefront of their music, continually challenging themselves to evolve without straying too far from their roots. Slug has proven masterful at storytelling and writing compelling narratives, leaving a trail of his own influence while paying homage to the rappers and songwriters that helped shape him. Ant has skillfully molded the soundtracks with inspiration from soul, funk, rock, reggae, and the wizardry of hip-hop's pioneering DJ's and producers, creating his own trademark sounds while providing the pulse for songs about life, love, stress and setbacks. At its essence, Atmosphere has been a musical shepherd, and with each new album comes a new journey as they guide generations of listeners through this thing called life.

  • Show was amazing!

by Brrepin on 2/17/14Mayo Civic Center Auditorium - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5

Atmosphere was sick as always I've seen them at least 10 times and they never fail to amaze me. I loved the openers Toki Wright & Dem Atlas and I was lucky enough meet both which was a great experience!!

Got to meet the artists and then watch them tear up the stage. Every performance was stellar and the energy was palpable. I'd love to see all of these rappers again!

    by aoneil23 on 2/16/14Verizon Wireless Center - MankatoRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing concert ! I liked how the venue was smaller so it felt more personable. All the rappers Atmosphere had open for them were great and I am glad I was able to get to know new artists!

  • An unforgettable show!

by TheMankatoMaster on 2/16/14Verizon Wireless Center - MankatoRating: 5 out of 5

A true show, anyone who listens to these guys music it really should be a must see. These guys show their passion clearly and you just can tell that there is a love for the music and for the fans. This venue was also great because of it's large size it didn't get too hot even when it was very full.

  • STILL GOT IT

Still the best live performer out there, and the setlist was amazing.

  • Concert: awesome! Location: so-so..

by MNMikal on 3/12/13Verizon Wireless Center - MankatoRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was amazing, atmosphere was unbelievable but Mankato didn't have anything else going on. No pre-parties, no after parties and the local bars were not to welcoming to concert goers after it was over.

  • Real

by CdubbZ on 3/3/13The Sanford Center - BemidjiRating: 5 out of 5

Underground hip-hop came out to Bemidji, MN and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. Every one did very well especially Brother Ali. Ali killed it and is one of the best hip hop artists around today.

  • Atmosphere

Slug was awesome... I thoroughly enjoyed the show.

  • by Anonymous on 6/27/12State Theatre - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

The nearly three hours of music the openers and the dj played almost ruined the event for me. I was almost asleep by the time atmosphere actually played. If I had known that was going to be the case, I wouldn't have showed up until ten, not seven thirty. That was my only disappointment.

  • Best night of my life.

by HollisandLiz on 6/26/12State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Atmosphere put on a set that lasted nearly two hours. Sean's energy was contagious. I'm so glad I found out they were coming to Portland. This is a night I will never forget. After seeing Atmosphere at KahBang last August, I realized how much I loved their music. I remember saying to people, "I wish I had known more of their songs before I saw them, it would have been more exciting for me." One year later and I got my wish. The vibe was great, the only thing I would have changed were the acoustics of the State Theater. Nothing Atmosphere could have done to change that, just the way the room was set up...

  • Atmosphere, Blueprint, BDolan Great Show!

by MattyBee on 6/25/12House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

I looked at the venue online. I was under the impression the venue was a lot larger than it really is. Regardless the show was awesome! Minus the fighting and the kids smoking weed. Security did great handling that though. Atmosphere Blueprint and B Dolan rocked the stage. Unforgettable performances for sure. Hope to do it again soooooon!!!

  • incredible

The only part that sucked was not being allowed to re-enter. I accidentally forgot my money in the car. It was a great show - Atmosphere was kickass, wasn't impressed by all the youngsters, but thats what you get for going to an all ages show. It was worth all the trouble in the end.

  • by LDub0101 on 6/24/12State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing as always, sweet set list, well worth the 2.5 hour drive

  • Atmosphere was amazing!!

by BekkiR on 6/24/12State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I have been listening to Atmosphere (and many other Rhymesayers artists) for almost 10 years, so honestly I was nervous about how it might change how I think of my favorite artist of all time. As soon as we arrived and I got to meet Erick I knew it was going to exceed anything I could picture! Slug, Ant, Nate, and Erick rocked this venue!! Can't wait to see them again! This was also my first time at the State Theater, which I definitely loved! They have a bar right in the arena, great balcony, and plenty of standing room (we made it to the front row!!!)

  • awesome atmosphere

by slugloveportland on 6/24/12State Theatre - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

opening acts werent that great, but atmosphere was amazing. Woulda paid 200$ to see this. I never realized he was such a good performer as well as musician. Bass coulda not been so intense, and treble low, but mighta just been my location in the theatre.

  • Best night of my whole entire life

    by Abbey4 on 6/24/12State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Slug is the nicest man, he shook everyone's hand before the concert, I met him while his opening acts were performing (he was doing something @ his tour bus and I was walking by) and he took a picture with me and was so nice, his performance was amazing an the whole crowd was so into it and I just felt rly close with everyone there...atmosphere is unreal, that's really all I can say
