    Atlanta Rhythm Section at SWFLEC

by L. M. on 1/8/19SouthWest Florida Event Center - Bonita Springs

My husband and I have been to a zillion concerts. We wanted so much to enjoy this but the sound in the venue was awful. We could see that the bass player was playing, the drummer was drumming and the vocalist was singing, but the sound was pure mud. We were sitting next to the sound engineer and were dismayed to see him just scrolling through EQ presets to try to find something that sounded ‘good’ to him. He never found it. We had to leave after 3 songs because we couldn’t take the noise anymore. We let the staff know on the way out and we’re just met with stares. Such a shame. The venue was lovely, the food was good...but the main reason we were there was for the music and it was impossible to hear it.

The "Sound" needs a lot of work! Dinner was good. Bartender pours a great drink!

    ARS still rocks!

by Slacker on 1/7/19SouthWest Florida Event Center - Bonita Springs

Having been a fan of ARS for decades, it was a pleasure to view them in person. Playing at SWFL Event Center in Bonita Springs, FL, they rocked the house with many of their classic songs as well as new music. While I was a bit apprehensive since there only two original founders, the band quickly swept that away. They played with enthusiasm and vigor, getting the audience involved right from the start. Bottom line; They kicked butt! Would attend another concert with them as their music doesn't get old. Thanks for a wonderful evening Atlantic Rhythm Section!

    Loved the music

by Cardudette on 5/15/18Access Showroom at Aliante Casino & Hotel - North Las Vegas

Aliante is a small venue but the band played like it was an arena. We felt they had fun, made it look easy and still showed a lot of effort to give everyone a great show.

    Pairing Perfection

by Tammyden50 on 8/9/16120 Tavern and Music Hall - Marietta

The mastermind who paired Angie Lynn Carter with Atlanta Rhythm Section must be commended! What a wonderful modern warm-up to classic bliss. Vocalists from both bands could really nail it; and man-o-man can those southern boys play! Today's top talents cannot begin to compare. If you want to watch true musicians in action you must see these guys on stage!

Music was great, venue not so much

by ARSfan on 8/9/16120 Tavern and Music Hall - Marietta

ARS brought back all the hits I remember and sounded good. They didn't spend much time engaging the crowd but I would still recommend seeing them. The only negative was the lead singer use of "G-D" a few times. Those words just don't sit well with me and it's not necessary to entertain us with that type of language. All in all, they were worth the trip.

    ARS Concert

by Bigfoot1962 on 8/9/16120 Tavern and Music Hall - Marietta

We were at a table outside of the main concert hall for the opening act and the acoustics there were not great. When ARS was about ready to come on stage we went to stand in the concert hall area and it was a great environment. ARS did a great job, especially for an older group of rockers. They played all their hits and lots of good guitar work. It was just a very fun time.

Atlanta Rythm Section is still great!

by Monsoonlady on 5/2/16Gordie Brown Showroom at the Golden Nugget - Las Vegas

The band played all their past hits and some new songs. The singer was as great as ever and great guitarists. Seating at the Golden Nugget Gordy Brown Showroom was very comfortable theater style seats. Looking forward to going to another concert there next month.

Don't know who to blame, ARS or Wild Bills?

by Anonymous on 7/15/12Wild Bills - Duluth

Show was good till the end when someone screwed up and turned the music on when ARS was waiting for an encore! You don't go to see ARS without hearing Georgia Rhythm!!! Very, very, very disappointed! I paid for four tickets [over 146.00] for a table. Again very disappointed!!!

    atlanta rythym section

by Driftwood on 4/6/12Bright House Networks Amphitheatre - Bakersfield

they were just what I expected=very, very good. The lead singer, the original, his voice was very good. I was a little concerned about the death of another singer, but this guy was good. The 2 guitarists were awesome.....and I have been to about 200 concerts and these guys were great. No crowd, maybe 150 to 200 at Bakersfield. I still am curious why they played there instead of somewhere like the Coachhouse in Capistrano...where they could get a piece of the food and drink

A little country in the city still has it!

by Metheneyfan on 5/10/11Wild Bills - Duluth

Although the loss of original members and our friends has been difficult for ARS, the new members bring a great deal of talent and new life to the band without changing the great sound we all know as ARS. Great show and great sound!

    Very Disappointed in ARS

    by drno1963 on 5/10/11Wild Bills - Duluth

I love the band Atlanta Rhythm Section and there Music , But what a horrible show on Saturday night, The sound system was the worst i have heard , all of the music was blurred with the vocals , whoever was running the mix did a horrible job , and it didnt appear anyone was out there listening to it so they could correct , I could not understand a word the lead singer was singing, I was looking forward to this concert , but we left early and dissappointed , In addition the band did not start until 11pm and we sat and waited for a poor performance

    ARS Unforgettably Disappointing

by MamaTD on 5/9/11Wild Bills - Duluth

Notable changes in band members, especially the loss of a lead singer, should have been a red flag when we purchased our tickets. But my husband and I decided to give them a chance holding little expectations for the evening. The band didn't take the stage until 11 pm when most headliners are already mid stream in their show. The crowd was greeted by a lead singer with an eye patch who explained he was suffering with an episode of Bell's palsey. That's all well and good, but it was no excuse for the band members who made this guy their front man. Yes, he could carry a tune, but he couldn't carry this band. The musical performance was up to par, but the lead vocalist just couldn't pull this off. The band would break in between songs as if they had no idea which song would be next in the set. We left the venue about twenty minutes into their show.
