by Richard on 2/19/20Jefferson Performing Arts Center - Metairie

This was a pleasant & wonderful concert which brought back wonderful memories & pleased one's musical desires. If you get a chance to see ARS, go see them. You will be so well entertained, & you will enjoy.

    Fantastic show and venue

by Steve on 2/17/20Jefferson Performing Arts Center - Metairie

Pleasantly reminded of the musicianship of ARS. Clean, crisp and rocking guitars. Brought back fond memories. My date for the night, and every night for the last 42 years, enjoyed the show as well.

    Sound Quality

by Sadie on 2/17/20Jefferson Performing Arts Center - Metairie

Love the Jefferson Performing Arts Center. Have seen several musicals there. However, this doesn't seem to be a good venue for a "rock" band. Sound was off - maybe it was the band's sound team. Not sure but as my husband, who is a musician commented, "highs were muted".

We sat in the pit and it was awesome

I could see what color picks they were playing with, plus being so close I could field the energy!

    Disappointing

by MJ on 2/17/20Jefferson Performing Arts Center - Metairie

This is not the first concert I have seen at the Jefferson Parish Performing Arts Center but it was the first time I was so disappointed in the sound set up that I had to leave after an hour. I don't know if it was the sound system in the venue or the set up of their amps and speakers but the quality was horrible. The band would have benefitted from a sound engineer or better sound system, Hard to hear the singer over the instruments sounded like everyone's instruments were being fed thru one speaker. I've been to high school band concerts that sounded better.

    Excellent experience.

by Momasan on 2/17/20Jefferson Performing Arts Center - Metairie

First time at Jefferson Performing Arts for a concert. Parking was easy, well lit, and close to box office. Staff was friendly and seats were awesome. Atlanta Rhythm Section put on a great show. Very enjoyable concert and ready to do it again.

    Very Good Show!

by mace on 2/17/20Jefferson Performing Arts Center - Metairie

The Atlanta Rythm Section put on a VERY entertaining show. Incredible 2 lead guitars,ALL NITE!! The set list was spot on with all their hits. And the band seemed to be enjoying their time on stage as well. They even declared that N.O. is one of only a few cities that they always plan on coming in to a few days early. Hope they come back real soon. And if they do...GO SEE THEM!!

    Atlanta Rhythm Section

by Sissy on 2/17/20Jefferson Performing Arts Center - Metairie

The seats were good. The sound system was not. It was real fuzzy. A lot of the time when he was talking you couldn’t make out what he was saying. For The Guess Who the sound was very good.

    Entertaining

by C. J. on 2/17/20Jefferson Performing Arts Center - Metairie

Good Valentine Day entertainment; however, the sound was poor in the area where we were sitting. I would say the concert lacked luster.

Atlanta Rhythm Section - Bad Ass Southern Rock

by Spunk1 on 12/30/19Buckhead Theatre presented by Cricket Wireless - Atlanta

Going to see ARS at the beautiful Buckhead Theatre was amazing. There is no doubt this band enjoys the audience as much as the audience enjoys them. All the band members were extremely nice and walked into the crowd immediately following the concert. They went up to the lobby to socialize with fans!

    Awesome show!

by N. P. on 12/30/19Buckhead Theatre presented by Cricket Wireless - Atlanta

Surprised my husband with tickets and had an awesome time. We both saw them in the 70's and they are still going strong. I love this venue and the show was great.

    Sound Engineers matter

by Db5757 on 12/30/19Buckhead Theatre presented by Cricket Wireless - Atlanta

Couldn’t hear vocals or one of the lead guitars hardly at all. Other than that, a good night.

    Disappointing

    by C. W. on 8/13/19The Hudson Gardens & Event Center - Littleton

There was little organization to the concert. No MC introduced the first act Blackfoot, but the band did that. Blackfoot ended its set but was asked to sing another song, apparently because the second act Black Oak Arkansas was not there yet. Then the headliner Atlanta Rhythm Section was introduced, without any explanation as to why it was performing out of order. ARS was good. After ARS's set, Black Oak Arkansas came on stage and started playing without any introduction, explanation, or apology. Then, frankly, Black Oak Arkansas was terrible. Frontman Jim Mangrum mumbled and walked around the stage aimlessly while Sammy simply wandered around the stage and sang/shouted off key.

    Fun Walk Down Memory Lane

by Colorado Cook on 8/13/19The Hudson Gardens & Event Center - Littleton

If you like tunes like 'Spooky' and 'So Into You' and you didn't catch ARS at Hudson Gardens Saturday night, your weekend wasn't all it could have been!

    Meh...

by Gold Sage on 8/13/19The Hudson Gardens & Event Center - Littleton

Atlanta Rhythm Section did ok, nothing special, IMO, certainly not the energy of their prior tours. The audio at Hudson Gardens could have been a lot better - there were many shouts from the audience about "fire the sounds guys". IMO, bass and treble were maxed out - no creativity or tailoring the audio to the strengths and weaknesses of the band members, the songs or the instruments. The warm-up band was loud and forgettable (can't even remember who it was that played) - thankfully, they weren't on stage very long. Black Oak Arkansas, the final band, was a huge disappointment, pretty much just screeching and stomping all over the stage. We, along with probably 2/3rds of the audience left after they started playing. Thought we were going to hear all of their 70's Southern Rock classics - instead, it was new songs that IMHO were just horrible.
