Atlanta Falcons Team History
The Atlanta Falcons joined the NFL as an expansion team in 1966. Since their start, they’ve won six division championships and have appeared in two Super Bowl games (1999 and 2017). The Falcons began play in the former Georgia Dome in 1992, where they defeated all other 31 NFL teams at least once during their time there. In 1998, they had their best season to date, finishing 14-2 and winning the NFC West.
The Falcons played their final match at the Georgia Dome on January 22, 2017, beating the Green Bay Packers 44-21 to win the division title. Upon completion of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Falcons opened their new home with a preseason game in August 2017.

Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Located in Atlanta, the 71,000-capacity Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS) opened in 2017. Built as a replacement for the Georgia Dome, Mercedes-Benz Stadium was constructed completely with the fan experience in mind. Wide concourses give fans the ability to freely move around the stadium on any level.
MBS is one of the most sustainable and environmentally-conscious sports venues in the world. After achieving LEED Platinum certification upon completion in 2017, MBS focused on implementing operations to create a zero waste environment. As part of its sustainability initiatives, MBS developed and implemented a variety of green practices, such as water conservation, energy conservation, recycling and compost, alternative transportation, an urban garden, and agriculture programs.
MBS became the first sports and entertainment venue to achieve LEED Zero certification in any category which can only be achieved if a venue has achieved LEED Platinum, and the first Stadium worldwide to achieve official TRUE Platinum certification for zero waste. The diverted materials are reduced, reused, recycled, composted and/or recovered to curb the Stadium's overall environmental footprint.

The Atlanta Falcons’ 2023 regular season kicks off in September at home against NFC South rivals Carolina Panthers. In the final week of the regular season, the Falcons will travel to Caesars Superdome to face another divisional rival, the New Orleans Saints. Here’s a list of key games to keep an eye on:

The Atlanta Falcons have appeared in two Super Bowl championships: Super Bowl XXXIII and Super Bowl LI, but lost both times.
The event was suppose to be from 2 to 7pm. It was nothing to do after the practice was over. We got there a little after 2 and the game had already started. So after the game was over about 3:40 you basically had to leave. This was a horrible experience and this was not my first time going.
This was truly a pressing game for the fans to experience. This had a different feel then previous years. I like this setup more. You can also tell a difference in the offense this year too. I enjoyed the great seating. And the concession stands lines weren’t overbearing either.
It was a really great experience! Great fans! Excellent food selections and prices! Outstanding Stadium! Also, I loved the individual interviews with the players during the scrimmage. #gofalcons
So glad my Birds started doing this for the fans! Going up to Flowery Branch for training camp ain't for everybody. I also enjoyed the way they ran the practice: treating it like a game. Having them scrimmage the entire practice as opposed to running drills. Had a nice time!

I purchased 8 tickets for 8 different individuals. Transferring the tickets to each individual was easy. Once we got to the gate getting in the stadium was very easy. I like the fact that you don't empty your pockets, take your belt off, take your cap off.
AS AN ATLANTA FALCONS FAN, IT WAS GOOD TO GET BACK INTO THE HOUSE THAT WE RIDE OR DIE IN AS FANS. COVID CHANGED HOW WE WERE ABLE TO SUPPORT THE TEAM. IN 2021 WE AS FANS ARE BACK IN THE HOUSE TO SUPPORT THE TEAM WE LOVE.............. RISE UP.. WAS A GOOD DAY TO SEE ALL THE GOOD FOLKS OF ATLANTA GET OUT AND SUPPORT THE TEAM AND FRANCHISE AS THEY SHOULD BE SUPPORTED

There was not enough interaction for all children and people. No towels or gifts thrown no cheerleaders. My kids were just sitting there. Sadly to say… It was kinda boring. #Letsgofalcons
The open practice to the Public was excellent ‼️It was good seeing the full squad dressed and going at it. I enjoyed seeing the fans out in numbers. GREAT ATMOSPHERE ‼️‼️
I came out with my sister, niece, niece's daughters and niece grandson. We had an amazing time. It was the children first time in the stadium. They took pictures with the Falcon cheerleaders and danced with Matty Ice's hologram. A very memorable event for everybody. BTW my brother was there with his son and grandsons.......they had a great time as well.
Had an awesome time at the training camp!! Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the players & watching them practice! Can’t wait to get the season started!!
The kids absolutely enjoyed the experience. I took my 4 great newphews and niece. We were extremely close to the field and the tickets were only $5.
This was my first time in the new stadium and I was very impressed with the facility.. We ordered some chicken nachos and popcorn with the souvenir cups.. The food was awesome and the prices was reasonable. My kids had a blast along with my wife and we will definitely be going back …. Hope the falcons have a great season
The stadium itself is phenomenal. Seating, aesthetics, sound, view, … the food was what was disappointing. It was lukewarm at best, and the pizza was just cold.
The Benz always hosts top notch events!!! Food is so reasonably priced, security is on point, there isn't a bad seat in the building, lots of charging places, bathrooms and great selection of food. The hype was decent for a practice (from the fans) but top notch from the hosts and DJ!!!
Really enjoyed my time with my children as we watched the Falcons participate in training camp.
