Atlanta Falcons Team History
The Atlanta Falcons joined the NFL as an expansion team in 1966. Since their start, they’ve won six division championships and have appeared in two Super Bowl games (1999 and 2017). The Falcons began play in the former Georgia Dome in 1992, where they defeated all other 31 NFL teams at least once during their time there. In 1998, they had their best season to date, finishing 14-2 and winning the NFC West.
The Falcons played their final match at the Georgia Dome on January 22, 2017, beating the Green Bay Packers 44-21 to win the division title. Upon completion of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Falcons opened their new home with a preseason game in August 2017.

Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Located in Atlanta, the 71,000-capacity Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS) opened in 2017. Built as a replacement for the Georgia Dome, Mercedes-Benz Stadium was constructed completely with the fan experience in mind. Wide concourses give fans the ability to freely move around the stadium on any level.
MBS is one of the most sustainable and environmentally-conscious sports venues in the world. After achieving LEED Platinum certification upon completion in 2017, MBS focused on implementing operations to create a zero waste environment. As part of its sustainability initiatives, MBS developed and implemented a variety of green practices, such as water conservation, energy conservation, recycling and compost, alternative transportation, an urban garden, and agriculture programs.
MBS became the first sports and entertainment venue to achieve LEED Zero certification in any category which can only be achieved if a venue has achieved LEED Platinum, and the first Stadium worldwide to achieve official TRUE Platinum certification for zero waste. The diverted materials are reduced, reused, recycled, composted and/or recovered to curb the Stadium's overall environmental footprint.

The Atlanta Falcons’ 2023 regular season kicks off in September at home against NFC South rivals Carolina Panthers. In the final week of the regular season, the Falcons will travel to Caesars Superdome to face another divisional rival, the New Orleans Saints. Here’s a list of key games to keep an eye on:

The event was great the Food was good the price was just right, But getting in was the problem you had to stand in long line the scanners were not work right people getting mad miss have of the show.
Me and my family, had a fantastic time. It was a value, allowing me and my family an opportunity to enjoy the new stadium.

Loved every moment of it. Being a former season ticket holder, my dream was to sit in the 100 section for $5. It was definitely a thrill in the air among the fans. Pros-ticket prices, food prices (pizza-$3, soda-$2), seat location (100), smiling fans, Ryan Cameron, players, Julio, Freeman, and Ryan, weather, Roof Ceremony, training, players catching the ball, hours (12 p.m.-2 p.m.) Cons-sitting around section 127 when the roof opened (the sun is not your friend), signage about MARTA (the customer representatives couldn't tell me where to exit the building to catch MARTA), coudln't hear the team coordinator announcing plays clearly Next year, it needs to have more fan participation. I need to hear more of Ryan Cameron speaking.

The stadium is nice. I think they need to come up with a better way of letting people back to their seats instead of having them pull out their phone everytime they come back to their seats. They should do color wristbands for each section that way it wont hold up the line.
Hey I took my family to the practice game and the they love it we had a great time
It could have been much better. Everyone was expecting a flag scrimmage game, not just watching them practice. That was kind of boring. The opening of the roof was great!!! The crowd was great...!!!

This was an awesome experience, I usually attend at least 1 game a season however last year I couldn't because I was expecting so I was able to attend the stadium for the first time with my 10 month old daughter.
