I can't wait until next year blues show so I can have my dancing shoes on and my drink in my hand Lekeitha Darko and I will be in the building
We felt like they had their foot on the gas, we really couldn't get into the show Bcuz the artist was off the stage before the even wormed up
I’ve never been to a Blues event. This was awesome. My wife and I truly enjoyed every minute. The venue was great, the crowd was great and All The Performers were Great! It was our first time but now we’re fans. Big shout out to Pokey Bear but I enjoyed each individual performances as well. This is a Must See Event whenever it comes to your area.
Everything was great! Parking was cheap. The walk was not long. The venue was good, easy to find, and the show was amazing! Tip: take the stairs to your floor as opposed to the elevators.
My husband and I have been fans of Sir Charles, TK Soul & Pokey Bear for years. They did awesome jobs with their performances & their voices sounded great! This was our first time seeing J’wonn & Tucka in concert. They were also great! I look forward to hearing more hits from J’wonn.
Concert and atmosphere was great however sound quality was horrible. If you did not know the songs you could tell what the performers were saying.
My hubby and I had such a great time at the show. The performers were awesome! “Get on that good foot” song and dance performance, I can’t stop talking about. I’m so happy !!!
The concert was wonderful I really enjoyed pokey and tk soul
The show was terrible do to the fact that featured artists wasn’t there and several of them were using the laptop for background and lip singing with no live band
The show was very nice performers should of had just a little more time put over all it was good
The show was amazing.I really enjoyed pokey,to soul, tucka and all the guys really.
I've been to plenty of Blues concerts. At first, I hated that it moved from the Fox Theater but I was open for change because I've never been to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. I must start off saying that the lineup for this was out of order. Bishop Bullwinke should have not been performing. He's good for laughs and for YouTube but not a real concert. He went over his time, (didn't mind the host telling him he was over his time) which cut Sir Charles Jones performance short. Sir Charles Jones was the headliner and only did 3 & a half songs. (one song he cut short). The sound quality at Cobb was horrible. It was not crystal clear like a concert should have been. The band was good but overall, move the Atlanta Blues Festival back to the Fox. Performance wise: Pokey Bear had AMAZING energy, I loved his entire show; Lenny Williams still got it, he did excellent; Theodis Ealey almost put me to sleep; I missed Latimore because of the long wait at the concession; and Sir Charles Jones was GREAT-- just wanted to hear more songs.
The blues festival was great. Everyone was fantastic
SHOW WAS GREAT! I HOPE THERE WILL BE MORE BLUES FESTIVAL HERE IN ATLANTA!
I really enjoyed myself. The artist were great. Lenny and Lattimore were great and I learned about some new artist. The venue was very nice. Can't wait til the next show.
Loved it waiting on next year running late but enjoyed while I was there
Good show with notable performers. Some performers were "mouthy" but overall, good show.
All the acts were great, Latimore got us started and excited and all through the show it was wonderful. Lots of laughter and jokes which were on the money, but Theodus act needed more interaction with audience, he was ok but need to bring up his showmanship. Bowinkle was off the chain and awesome as well as Lenny. Sir Charles, I was a little disappointed that he did not put on a show stopping performance like he has previously done. It was nice that he recognized Bobby Womack, but he need to step it back up for Sir Charles!! The location was great and look forward to more future blues shows. Would love to have a video of show if possible. Thanks for a great great time until next year!!
I needed to hear more of Lenny Williams and less of all that cursing and vulgarities coming from that old man and the bear guy! Yuk! We almost waked out. What happened to classic blues? This wasn't it.
She enjoyed the show, so glad I took her. The show was great, not so much about the people sitting close.
