We have been going to the AT&T Beach Pro-Am for 5 years. Our annual trip is usually over the weekend and this year we decided to go on Wednesday. On Wednesday is when the amateurs are practicing and there are a couple of celebrity events that are fun to watch. The course is quiet and at times, you feel like you are the only person on the course as you walk from hole to hole. The scenery is just spectacular and a great walk. If you are up for a bloody mary, buy one at Pebble Beach Lodge, they are delicious and well worth the cost vs the $15.00 small bloody mary at the refreshment stands along the course. The only hiccup we had this year is that you were not allowed to bring in a purse and so it was a bit of a hassle checking a purse in and picking it back up when you left. The volunteers were adamant that the "purse or bag size" allowed was on the website but I looked and it was difficult to find so I think the poor volunteers got a lot of flak. The whole process was mess. Long lines, people upset, volunteers were pissy. This process just started the day on a bad note. My purse happened to be 1/2" bigger than was allowed so I had to actually check mine in which seemed really silly. The purse was smaller than my baseball cap and they let me wear that in? Not sure how the weekend crowds will be managed but it was a bit of mess. Otherwise, a nice quiet event during the week. Based on some of the changes not sure we will be back.
Wonderful time walking MPCC in practice round. Would go back again.
Bring along the coast was beautiful and the Pebble Beach course was amazing to see! Each and every hole was created to make it challenging and fun for a golfer and spectator. The staff at Pebble Beach was warm and demonstrated welcoming hospitality. I definitely will be back!
Far too many people at this event. What used to be a relaxing, fun filled event has become an over commercialized venue with far too many noisy, boisterous attendees with little or no understanding of the game of golf. It almost had the feel of a frat party.
Total disappointment in how the event is managed from the spectator view. Monday-Tuesday no one and I mean no one knew where anything was, the ticket location, the shuttle service, the facilities. We ended up on numerous hikes following instructions from your staff that were dead ends. Even from one side of a facility parking lot to the other we received different directions and instructions. We could point at one group that gave us instructions and were being instructed by another that we could not go there. We were not the only group that received invalid instructions and when you are in your 60's that is a lot of walking that would have been used for better activities.
There is nothing like Pebble Beach to watch golf. When the weather is nice, like it was Saturday, it's the best place to be to watch golf. There were a few places where it was a bit crowded but overall the experience was good. The food area near 4 and 17 was excessively crowded and seriously needs to have more capacity. The one over by 18 was much better likely because few folks knew it was there. I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't for the really long waits to get food and if they had a little better selection of merchandise. Still, a very fun day was had by all in our party.
Had a wonderful time, loved the celebrities! The weather and atmosphere were fabulous.
My husband and I attended on Friday and most of the players we wanted to see were on the country club course. It is definitely not fan friendly as when we needed water we had to search it out and were faced with a long line as all drinks were the same line. When we got hungry we headed back to the only two food trucks and they had and there was a 30 minute wait to place a food order and 1 hour to get it. Finding this out, we immediately caught the shuttle and headed to Pebble Beach course. The country club course had bad planning and was not set up to handle a crowd and also no where to sit. We won’t go back there.
Great event but in redeeming our tickets on our first day we were unable to get our passes for the view or palmer. Was told that could not be processed at Spyglass. I did not feel chasing around golf courses was not what I wanted to do. I needed the product purchased available at any valid entry
Beautiful course, friendly staff, gorgeous weather. I only wish there were better concession options.
Simply an amazing day on Pebble Beach that I will never forget!
For $1000 a piece we were very disappointed. You can’t even see the ball on the green when they come in to finish up. We assumed it was above the green buts that’s a sponsored area only.
The weather combined with awesome gold added up to be an unforgettable day!!
Not nearly enough drink stands. Had to miss part of the event to walk all the way back to a drink stand. Was extremely disappointed.
Bought the weekly tickets for my bf for Xmas & he was so happy. He definitely wants to go again & even said he wanted to go to the masters... Lol I'm not into golf at all, but seeing him happy and excited made up for it, and so did the views! Also, I got to see Bill Murray play and I was so close to him. He talks to the crowd and recognized me. That was awesome! Do not waste your money on actual food, because it's disgusting!!
I had gone to this event in 2001, but stopped going for several years. Then, in 2015, a friend happen to have a couple of tickets they weren't going to be able to use. When I got the tickets, they were VIP/Corporate sponsored tickets, which allows you some privileges that the standard tickets don't. My buddy and I had the time of our lives. The weather was beautiful. The celebs were out and we were able to take some pictures with them. And the golfing was outstanding. We were able to follow our favorite golfers up close, like Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, Phil Mickelson, and more. Anyway, we've been going to this event ever since. And, we intend to continue to do so. Love this venue.
Great Event! Ticketmaster electronic tickets made it a breeze!
Pebble beach is probably the number one course that all golfers would want to play. Then to add to that putting the world's best golfers and some well known celebrities and it's altogether an unbelievable experience. Something I will never forget.
Weekly tickets were a fantastic treat. No waiting to get tickets daily. The weather was fantastic, but even if it wasn't, it would be great fun. Getting up close and personal with the golfers and celebrities is always an experience. Been going 20 years and hope for at least 20 more.
