Ashley Gavin is an American comedian, podcast host, writer and TikTok star. After losing her father at a young age, the New York resident went on to graduate with a degree in computer science from Bryn Mawr College. Gavin graduated Magna Cum Laude and with honors in computer science, and founded the non-profit, Girls Who Code. Several years later, Gavin quit her job and took a chance at stand up comedy. Soon after, clips of her live shows began being shared on TikTok by fans, and her career took a leap to a new level. Her chart-topping podcast, “We’re Having Gay Sex,” was voted one of the best of 2020 by Paste Magazine, and has been acknowledged by People, Forbes and Us Weekly. Between her well-known podcast and her popularity on TikTok, the comedy sensation has made a name for herself on tour. Gavin’s live shows are known for being an interactive experience, full of improvised interactions with her audience, and off-the-cuff commentary. by AA on 11/6/23Lincoln Theatre - WashingtonAshley Gavin was hilarious. I got meet her afterwards and she was so sweet and kind. Her jokes are very dark but make all the heaviness in the world feel a little bit lighter. I thoroughly enjoyed the show and will definitely be seeing her again!

But Ashley's approach to the public, to her past mistakes, to her own ego, were so weird and disappointing I don't think I want to go see her again.

Even in the bigger setting it felt genuine! We were laughing the ENTIRE NIGHT! So much so our faces started to hurt towards the end (worth it though!) So so excited for her return next year!

Ashley was very engaging and kind to audience members, regardless of the joke’s intensity; she always made sure to do a check-in with the crowd when necessary, which created an environment filled with love and respect. Her work is amazing! I had a great time laughing nonstop and would totally see her again!

by Jody on 9/15/23This show was so much fun! Laughs non stop. I took my straight mom to the show with me and she had a blast! This show isn’t just for the queers. Ashley was so funny and so honest. Everything I hoped. If you have the chance to see her on tour, just do it. You won’t regret it.

by Riv on 8/29/23Chose the last show because I know from WHGS that its a bit loopy and she definitely delivered. It was cool to see the crowd work and her loop back. Honestly want to go to maybe show #2 or 3 to get the more dialed jokes and set list, but no regrets going to this one. It was chaos.

by Risa on 8/28/23Loved the event, the comics were so funny and Gavin specifically handled a stupid-rude heckler so well it made the entire night a blast. The venue was very nice as well; accessable and clean. The garlic fries were spectacular. Highly recommend the whole experience.
