Ashley Gavin is an American comedian, podcast host, writer and TikTok star. After losing her father at a young age, the New York resident went on to graduate with a degree in computer science from Bryn Mawr College. Gavin graduated Magna Cum Laude and with honors in computer science, and founded the non-profit, Girls Who Code. Several years later, Gavin quit her job and took a chance at stand up comedy. Soon after, clips of her live shows began being shared on TikTok by fans, and her career took a leap to a new level. Her chart-topping podcast, “We’re Having Gay Sex,” was voted one of the best of 2020 by Paste Magazine, and has been acknowledged by People, Forbes and Us Weekly. The venue was great, but Ashley was incredible. I saw her twice and her crowd working was phenomenal both times. She also switched up her content last minute for the relevance of our political climate and was hilarious. I will see her every chance I get!
