CABINET IN CONCERT:
Cabinet has been serving up their unique take on Pennsylvania bluegrass since 2006, treating fans across the country to music that's as playful and adventurous as it is rooted in tradition. Folksy, country-tinged tunes like "Heavy Rain" and "The Tower" are brimming with energetic percussion, impressive banjo fingerpicking, and catchy fiddle riffs, providing the perfect musical backdrop to the band's Americana-inspired tales of country life. This is music for stomping your boots to, and Cabinet never fails to deliver with their rollicking performances on tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Cabinet was formed in Pennsylvania in 2006 by a group of musicians hailing from diverse backgrounds that included country, folk, and -- of course -- bluegrass. They released their self-titled debut later that year and attracted the attention of Ropeadope Records, which re-released the record along with a trio of live albums that followed. The first of those -- This Is Cabinet - Set I -- showcased their infectious live energy and knack for blending country and bluegrass elements. The second release -- This is Cabinet - Covers -- followed in 2011, and in 2013 the band dropped This is Cabinet - Set II. Along with these live offerings, the band has released several studio albums including 2012's Leap, which was recorded over four days in front of a live studio audience. Passionate and genuine performers known for pushing the boundaries of bluegrass while remaining rooted in its traditions, Cabinet continues to captivate with down-home performances on tour.

It was a great show!!! Can’t wait to see them again.
Great show from a great band at a great venue. My financee and I love seeing Cabinet anywhere we can. Miz is always a great addition. The Kirby Center is truly the gem of Wilkes Barre and our favorite venue to see a show locally.
Cabinet rocks! Please them bring them back to Club XL as soon as possible.
Cabinet is so fun!great time great venue! Bartenders were great with the big crowd .. good job wonderbar!
My fiancee and I had the greatest time. The birthday and the huge yes made it so much greater a show then we could have evr expected.
Only allowed to watch a brief moment of the show before i was attacked by one of the staff there as i was waiting by the bathroom for my mom. I was then escorted out with no explanation. The "owner" followed and apologized immensely but still without any explanation. They have since said they would review the cameras and get back to me. That never happened as i am sure after they realized they are entirely liable. This is beyond unprofessional and even worse when i asked for their lawyer info the denied it to me. I will more than likely have those cameras subpeaoned and begin legal procedures. I dont expect ticketmaster to care, but maybe someone should start giving a damn.
How could these guys have been on hiatus for 2 years? They were so musically in tune with each other. The jams were amazing. The venue was wonderful
It was great to see the boys back together. Loved the venue in every way.
Cabinet never ceases to deliver great music. Terrific new venue and an outstanding show. Hope to see many more bands here.
