NEEDTOBREATHE In Concert

Since 1998, NEEDTOBREATHE have quietly emerged as a dynamic force in rock music, topping the charts, selling out historic venues, and generating hundreds of millions of streams to date. The band have gathered one platinum single, four gold singles, and a gold album. Along the way, “Multiplied” notched their first GRAMMY® nomination. Simultaneously, they performed to sold out crowds at arenas and amphitheaters coast to coast. In addition to garnering two nods at the Billboard Music Awards, they’ve attracted acclaim from People, Rolling Stone, Forbes, and many more. In 2020, they sowed the seeds for rebirth with Out of Body. It bowed in the Top 5 of three Billboard charts and reeled in acclaim. Their 2nd live album, Live From the Woods Vol. 2, recorded at The Caverns in Pelham, TN at a socially distanced event, will be released on April 16.

    Beautiful night at Freedom Hill

by Gerry on 6/1/24Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling Heights

First time seeing NTB and Judah and the Lion live. It was a great show. Even though NTB is a “Christian country” band they put on one of the best rock shows I have seen in a long time. Judah’s set was the perfect lead in for an energetic and heartfelt set from Needtobreathe. Looking forward to seeing both bands again. The venue was great, security and support staff was friendly and excited to be there. 5 star night!

    Couldn’t attend

by CM on 6/1/24Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling Heights

I ended up getting suite tickets to Lauren Daigle and couldn’t go. According to friends that went to NEEDTOBREATHE said it was fantastic.

    Now what we expected

by Jolene122 on 5/31/24Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island - Chicago

The concert started an hour late, however they did upgrade our seats to floor seats. For the first hour, Needto breathe only played 1 mainstream popular song. Everything else was new material and extended versions. We were disappointed more of their popular music wasn’t mixed into the set list.

    Weather happens but still.

by Ian on 5/31/24Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island - Chicago

First off I under weather happens that’s fine. I got these tickets for my wife for Christmas to mainly see Judah and the Lion wasn’t made clear when buying that it was the caves tour and Needtobreath was the headliner which under normal circumstances wouldn’t have mattered. Doors opened at 5:30 so we left our hotel at 5 to get in early sense the opener is the main reason we are there. We get there it’s pouring down rain and learn that now doors won’t be opening till 7:30. With this we decide to take a Uber back to the hotel put on dry clothes and come back see as we now have 2 hours till gates opening and why stay rain. In hindsight this was the error and because of this we didn’t get to see the band I bought tickets for. We get back to the venue at 6:45 still 45 mins till doors open but the line is much longer obviously. Still we’re not worried why would we be. 7:30 comes line starts moving we get in around 8 with tons of people still behind us. We ear some music but it’s faint and can’t make it out so we think it’s just being piped in like normal before concerts so we get drinks and head to our seats. It’s not till we get right next to the stage we realize that the band we came to see was finishing there shortened set do to weather. I don’t understand why it couldn’t have been communicated earlier what the plans were. Or at least give people a chance to get in I get there not the headliner but still

    Blown away

by Deb R on 5/31/24Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island - Chicago

NEEDTOBREATHE really know how to put on a show, even in the rain. It was amazing. Northerly Island is a beautiful venue, but my only request is that they pick an indoor theater next time—and maybe in the suburbs for a change.

    Needtobreathe is amazing!

by Infrequent Concert Goer on 5/31/24Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island - Chicago

Attended concert with my 15yo daughter and despite the rain, we held strong until the end of the concert and loved every minute. Band was amazing in this size venue, huge venues always suck for concerts IMO but this was great size and outdoor. Win win win! My only complaint is standing around outside in line because of rain, e try was delayed 30 minutes but it had already stopped raining so this seemed unnecessary. That said once gates opened and line started moving, it was pretty quick to get inside.

    Average

by MajorFanOfNTB on 5/31/24Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island - Chicago

They made the best of bad weather, but it should have been rescheduled. It was a brutal evening. Got there 5:30 only to find out doors would not open till 7:30 due to weather. No place to really 'shelter'. Poured rain. Poured some more. Poured even more. Temps started to drop. Judah/Lion played abbreviated set starting cloesr to 8:00pm. NTB was awesome, but was freezing and windy out........and then it started to rain again. Again, should have been rescheduled IMHO.

    High energy and heartfelt appreciation

by Buckeye21 on 5/29/24Credit One Stadium - Charleston

Saw Needtobreathe at Credit One on Saturday and they did not disappoint. Charleston is kind of a home away from home for the band and they let us know how much playing here means to them. They’re a band that has a great message in their music and also in the charities they run and support. Best of all they can flat out rock. Played a great mix of older songs and new ones from the Caves release Also did an acoustic set and talked about things on their mind , gave the band members a chance to showcase their own talents and musical tastes as well. Judah and the Lion opened I wasn’t familiar but they had some great stuff too and played a raucous opening set. All in all a great night

    Connecting with the fans

by Jim on 5/29/24Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach - Virginia Beach

We have seen Needtobreathe 16 times, and this was the best show to date. Although they did not play several of our absolute favorite songs, the overall performance was first rate. The band is known for its extensive video accompaniment, and this show did not fail to measure up with the most extensive and interesting video package yet with the videos fitting perfectly with each song. The two back-up singers added significantly to the overall effect, and the five permanent members of the band were on top of their respective games. The big difference was Bear Rinehart. In the past, he has not talked much to the audience and has apparently not felt the need to connect with his fans. That was totally different Sunday night as Bear told stories, showed feelings and emotions, and basically bared his soul for all to see. It made quite a difference and greatly enhanced the overall performance. Judah and the Lion was surprisingly entertaining and provided a great opening act. The combined encore gave the night a perfect ending.

    Okay

by Bee on 5/29/24Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach - Virginia Beach

The headliner for this concert was better than the actual band playing. Could not make out what they were saying, and there was way too many lights and strobes. We left early. The venue was excellent though.

    Unique Experience

by First NTB Concert on 5/29/24Saint Louis Music Park - Maryland Heights

First time to this Venue. The staff was amazing! I didn't realize I had purchased seats up steps until we arrived, as my husband cannot go up steps. They were able to accommodate us on an ADA section. After getting settled heard one song and then the venue was evacuated due to inclement weather danger. However, NTB was able to come back two nights later, and the venue and Ticketmaster all worked it out to allow this to happen. Great experience. Guess the only little complaint was hoping to hear more of their past Christian hits instead of so many of the newer songs. ;-)

by Rob Shep on 5/29/24Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach - Virginia Beach

This tour was the perfect concert for me. My two favorite bands are Judah and the Lion and Needtobreathe. The production was excellent! I feel sorry for people who don't get to experience Needtobreathe live! They are so good!
