LIL YACHTY IN CONCERT:
Rising Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty broke out on the internet in early 2016 with the viral hit "One Night," and while he's got serious digital clout, he shines brightest in the flesh at his wild live shows. Yachty's lovably strange, spaced-out sound features off-kilter trap beats and vocals auto-tuned to the extreme, and his performances push the weirdness even further as he takes fans on a tripped-out journey to the farthest reaches of his twisted imagination. Bouncing around the stage with his signature cherry-red dreads, Yachty switches between two identities – the playful bubblegum pop vocalist Lil Yachty and his hard-edged MC alter ego Lil Boat – while his crew hypes the crowd with call and response vocals and party-starting moves. It's a freaky good time whenever Yachty and his boys come to town, and it’s perfect for ticket buyers who like their rap with a side of oddball creativity.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Lil Yachty, aka Miles Parks McCollum, threw his hat into the rap ring in a major way in 2016, releasing three mixtapes in the span of a few months – all while just 18 years old. The first, Summer Songs, featured his breakout hit "One Night," which went viral after being featured in a popular YouTube comedy sketch. The song cracked the Top 40 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, paving the way for the success of Yachty's next mixtape Lil Boat, which made its way onto the Billboard 200 and earned him a joint contract with Capitol Records, Motown Records, and Quality Control Music. After inking the deal Yachty didn't even blink – the following month he dropped his third mixtape Summer Songs 2, earning critical acclaim and drumming up major excitement for his first headlining tour.

A mosh pit for every damn song, even the slow ones. A Mosh pit for every rapper. Every rapper was singing over their own vocals. Yachty kept forgetting lyrics. He probably had 5 more songs and the kids were ready to go so we did. So yeah, we had fun but it was at best an okay show

I really loved the venue, staff was nice and professional, it was very clean and organized and we were not waiting super long. However, my only issue is that they “ran out of free water” for the SOLD OUT show, and I had to pay $6 for a bottle of water. How on earth do you run out of free water

Probably should not have him back on tour with Yachty cause he is not good at all. Yachty killed it I love his music. He really knows how to put on a show. I give him a 10 out of 1-10.
