LUDACRIS IN CONCERT:
As far as sonic recognizability goes, few rappers can top the unmistakable timbre of Ludacris' signature drawl. Luda has been an ubiquitous presence in rap music ever since his 1998 on-record debut, and with "Party Girls," the first preview single from eighth album Ludaversal, climbing charts in early 2014, he's showing no signs of slowing. Luda treated audiences at his 2013 shows to marathon sets of his greatest hits, and with a new album hitting shelves in 2014, fans are sure to get some special treatment on his upcoming tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born Christopher Brian Bridges in Illinois, Ludacris moved to Atlanta at age nine. After a stint as a radio DJ on Atlanta's legendary Hot 97.5, he scored his first mainstream exposure on the track "Phat Rabbit," a collaboration with Timbaland from the famed producer's 1998 album Tim's Bio: Life from da Basement. Ludacris built on this success with his 2000 debut album Back for the First Time, which contained several huge singles, and in 2003 he topped the Billboard 200 with third album Chicken-n-Beer. His next two albums would also top the chart, spawning classic No. 1's "Stand Up" and "Money Maker" and establishing him as one of rap's biggest players. With seven Top 5 albums under his belt and eighth album Ludaverse due out in 2014, anticipation for Luda's upcoming tour dates is at fever pitch.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"I would see Ludacris again in a heartbeat. He is as good live as he is on every single one of his albums. He's funny, he's clever, he's entertaining and he's downright sexy."
"...Ludacris came up, and I was absolutely floored. A wonderful combination of his old number one hits and his new ones made me fall in love all over again with his artistry. He was very charismatic and able to keep the crowd going."
"Luda was awesome!!! I have never had that much fun at a concert ever. Luda is a pure entertainer!!!! Great selection!"

What an amazing show! He's incredible! We all had a great time and had an unforgettable experience
Ludacris was great, but this event was so uncomfortable because of how overcrowded the venue was. It would not have even helped to have VIP because the VIP area was the size of a closet. There was literally nowhere to stand, and people kept getting told to get off the stairs, but they had nowhere to step!!! The floor was shoulder to shoulder packed. It did not seem safe, and it wasn’t fun.
Prior to the show, the Fillmore has quite the mess of getting people into the venue. I had VIP tickets, and the entrance for VIP was on the side, the intersected with the regular GA line, so when they open the doors, needless to say, it was quite a mess People cutting in line Very disorganized. Ludacris did an amazing job started a little late and of course he had to cut his set short abruptly left the stage.
LUDAAAAAA!!!! He put on an amazing show. Big SHOUTOUT to the opener and the DJ's for getting us hyped up and ready before he came out too. All in all, 10/10 show indeed!
Luda blew it up. Amazing show. Wish he would've played vices and SOTL but still dope
Luda played pretty much all the songs I wanted to hear, and the crowd was hoppin. But the stage presence and overall energy was lacking for me. Some backup dancers, props, and effects would have given this show the pizzazz it was lacking.
Love the concert and everything. The drinks omg were so strong but I love it
Can’t say nothing bad, Ludacris killed that show, he made me lose my voice lol everything was perfect, show was packed but even that! Had the best time ever
I loved it! First time seeing ludacris! Wish I got to meet him because I had some fast and furious hotwheels I wanted him to sign! I had paulwalkers Nissan and his Ford F-150 work truck! If he ever sees this review I hope to one day to meet him and get to talk to him while he signs them or to have him on my podcast when it finally does its first episode!
Luda was the most fun I have ever had at a concert! Great engagement with the crowd, lots of fun throwbacks! The whole place was on fire!
It was great... Me and my son loved it... I would go see him again in a heart beat....
I'm about to be 62 and this was my first concert ever and I'm glad I picked this one I always liked Ludacris as a performer and actor. I really enjoyed it because he gave us a great performance.
He still got it. Gave a awesome concert! We had a blast. He had the crowd up and dancing all the way from the beginning to the end
Awesome concert, great night.. played longer than expected.. old and new hits.. kept audience on their feet and dancing.. will definitely see him again
My only complaint would be that Luda showed up 30 minutes late. He gave an hour and 10 min. performance in Grant, OK along with his bestie from HS and the DJ. Loved his energy and love for TX/OK fans from different area codes. When he showed up, the crowd was at a standing O the whole time. I’d definitely go see him again if/when he comes back to DFW. One of my favorite hip hop lyricist.
At the beginning of the concert the sound was horrible but got better as the concert went forward
This show was lit all the way through! The intermission, the Djs, and the shoe itself was absolutely amazing
Seeing legend like TWISTA and Ludacris was so fun, so much energy, but lil John absolutely killed it tonight! No better way to spend a night
