About

Shania Twain on Tour

Shania Twain's concerts bring together her long list of hits and her newer material in thrilling ways, throwing back to her iconic videos while also using state-of-the-art stagecraft to make her appear larger than life. Her status as the queen of country-pop is only cemented by her stellar stage presence and the enduring power of her hits. Bottom line: She will impress you much.

Shania Twain in Concert

Ontario-born Shania Twain has one of the most storied histories in country music, with chart-topping singles around the world and shelves full of awards. Her second album, 1995's The Woman in Me, was her huge breakthrough, spawning her first Canadian No. 1 country single, the feisty "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" as well as her inaugural U.S. country chart-topper, the saucy "Any Man of Mine." Twain's no-nonsense lyrics and smooth voice proved to be an ideal pairing for country-music audiences as well as the Recording Academy of America, who awarded Woman the 1996 Grammy for Best Country Album. From there, Twain went on not only to rule ‘90s country but to expand her terrain into pop. The lush ballad "You're Still the One," from her third album, Come On Over, became Twain's first Hot 100 Top 10 single and topped charts around the world, with the swirling love song "From This Moment On" and the amusedly withering "That Don't Impress Me Much," also from that album, following suit. Come On Over would spawn 12 singles from its 1997 release until 2000, and those songs picked up four Grammys at the Recording Academy's 1999 and 2000 awards.

In 2002 Twain showed off her wide musical palette with Up!, which was released in three editions that placed its 19 songs in pop, country, and "world" motifs. The album showcased Twain's instinct for writing memorable hooks and proved to audiences that she could hang with pop's biggest names. Twain put music on the back burner in the years that followed, releasing the occasional single while focusing on raising her son and dealing with health issues. She returned from the break in 2012 when she opened the Still the One residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. In the years since, she's released her fifth album, Now, executive-produced and appeared on the USA talent search Real Country, and announced a second Vegas residency, Let's Go!, opening in December 2019. Previously, Shania Twain has sold out venues to capacity, like Zappos Theater and The O2.

The Best Concert I’ve Ever Seen!

by FanShania on 11/14/23Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

Shania Twain was incredible. So down to Earth and genuine. She spoke more to the crowd than any artist I’ve ever seen and sounded amazing. She was moved to tears several times by the roar of the crowd in Calgary and made that known. It was a dream come true to see her. Thanks for such a great show Shania ❤️❤️❤️

    Shania never disappoints!

by ConcertLubber on 11/14/23Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

Shania Twain is the kind of performer that entertains with her heart and soul. She is a professional and takes time to acknowledge her youngest and greatest fans. Some audience members may find this takes away from the performance, but I love it. This is what keeps Shania so close to our hearts as she demonstrates to the audience how much she cares about all of us by selecting a few lucky audience members to interact with. I have seen Shania four times and it never gets old and I will see her again when she comes back. The only negative comment is we were seated at a place where there was "floor access"and it would have been nice if they held the crowd back more during the performance. Even this slight interruption didn't take away from my overall enjoyment and still think Shania was a five star performance!

Loved the opportunity to finally see Shania live!

by Bobby on 11/14/23Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

Great concert, Shania sang a variety of her awesome song collection. Her only mistake was taking 20 mins out of the concert to stop and interact with approximately 10 kids on stage and it kinda lost some the momentum that she had built up to that point. Utilizing 2 or 3 kids for maybe 5 mins would have been more appropriate.

The concert was lively and energetic!

by Alli on 11/14/23Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

The concert was great! The atmosphere was energetic. Considering what she has been going through the concert was amazing! Her down to earth personality is what makes her shine ! The tribute to her crew that were hurt In The bus crash was very moving. The crowd was on their feet almost the whole time!

    Fun

by Chantelle on 11/14/23Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

I went in with mixed reviews and unsure what to expect but my group had so much fun. Her voice is t what it used to be but she puts it all out there and gives it her all. I could have done without all the audience participation although the kids were cute. Overall it was a great night and I’m glad we went!

    Mileage may vary

by Erasmus on 11/14/23Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

Decent but not fantastic. Slow moving at times and sound was not the greatest. The back up singers carry alot of the weight now. Glad I went but would not repeat.

    Was a really great show!

by Dev on 11/14/23Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

Shania puts on a GREAT show. Engaging, great singer, good mix of old and new. Would definitely recommend! My only critique was that the bringing on stage was a big long winded… I felt that even though cute it took too long and broke up the show.

Loved Shania disappointed in our view

by beveready on 11/14/23Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

I purchased our tickets knowing we were in the second tier but had a direct sightline to the stage. Tickets were around $100 each. When we got to our seats we saw the two large screens on either side of the stage and thought "great, we will have great views of the performance". Unfortunately, there were huge speakers in front of the screens that limited our view to the bottom half of all performers. Less than ideal. I would have thought that when purchasing the tickets there would have been a caution statement similar to when you are purchasing tickets that are actually almost behind the stage. Major faux pas on Ticketmaster's part.

    Parking Could Use Improvement

by 90s Country Fan on 11/13/23Fargodome - Fargo

The concert was great, venue was good. The only suggestion I have is regarding the parking. Getting into and out of the parking lot seemed to take an insane amount of time.

    Shania Twain stage performance

by willy on 11/13/23SaskTel Centre - Saskatoon

Shania's performance was presented by her personnel character and she did this with a direct connection with her audience. The only flaw for the event was the poor audio setting of that location.

    Fun time!

by Spoiled Mama on 11/13/23SaskTel Centre - Saskatoon

Attended Shania with my adult daughter. She bought the tickets for a Mothers Day gift. Very pleased with the performance. Shania sang all the oldies but goodies. Her band was very entertaining!

    Good show

by Nick on 11/12/23SaskTel Centre - Saskatoon

Shania isn’t the powerhouse she once was, but overall a good show! Enjoyed the backup singers and all their moves and antics!! We were on the floor, and it would be nice if the chairs weren’t hooked together, so you weren’t sitting on your neighbors lap!

Shania The Queen of Me Tour

by JMR on 11/12/23Schottenstein Center - Columbus

Great concert. Shania sang new and older songs. The horse motorcycle and the graphics on the screen were amazing. Very fun night.

Low energy and a poor performer.

by Sheridan on 11/12/23SaskTel Centre - Saskatoon

I’ve never seen Shania in concert before and I guess I was just thinking she would be so much more of a performer than she was Thursday night. She basically just stands in the middle of the stage and half heartedly sings. Her voice was not very good either. I was very disappointed.

    Shania

by Deb on 11/12/23SaskTel Centre - Saskatoon

Shania concert was so unbelievably great, I would love to see her again, but maybe next time she can come in summer or fall. I had a great time and look forward to her next concert, I am so glad everyone is ok from the bus accident. The only problem I have is the speakers cover the big screens so you can't really see anything unless you are on the floor or the side., so we really could only see a peak when she walked over to one side.

    Blocked view

by Tandie on 11/12/23SaskTel Centre - Saskatoon

Show was good. The problem was from the seats we were sitting in, was a bit of disappointment. The speakers coming down were blocking the screens, so we couldn't even watch.
