Shania Twain on Tour

Shania Twain's concerts bring together her long list of hits and her newer material in thrilling ways, throwing back to her iconic videos while also using state-of-the-art stagecraft to make her appear larger than life. Her status as the queen of country-pop is only cemented by her stellar stage presence and the enduring power of her hits. Bottom line: She will impress you much.

Shania Twain in Concert

Ontario-born Shania Twain has one of the most storied histories in country music, with chart-topping singles around the world and shelves full of awards. Her second album, 1995's The Woman in Me, was her huge breakthrough, spawning her first Canadian No. 1 country single, the feisty "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" as well as her inaugural U.S. country chart-topper, the saucy "Any Man of Mine." Twain's no-nonsense lyrics and smooth voice proved to be an ideal pairing for country-music audiences as well as the Recording Academy of America, who awarded Woman the 1996 Grammy for Best Country Album. From there, Twain went on not only to rule ‘90s country but to expand her terrain into pop. The lush ballad "You're Still the One," from her third album, Come On Over, became Twain's first Hot 100 Top 10 single and topped charts around the world, with the swirling love song "From This Moment On" and the amusedly withering "That Don't Impress Me Much," also from that album, following suit. Come On Over would spawn 12 singles from its 1997 release until 2000, and those songs picked up four Grammys at the Recording Academy's 1999 and 2000 awards.

In 2002 Twain showed off her wide musical palette with Up!, which was released in three editions that placed its 19 songs in pop, country, and "world" motifs. The album showcased Twain's instinct for writing memorable hooks and proved to audiences that she could hang with pop's biggest names. Twain put music on the back burner in the years that followed, releasing the occasional single while focusing on raising her son and dealing with health issues. She returned from the break in 2012 when she opened the Still the One residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. In the years since, she's released her fifth album, Now, executive-produced and appeared on the USA talent search Real Country, and announced a second Vegas residency, Let's Go!, opening in December 2019. Previously, Shania Twain has sold out venues to capacity, like Zappos Theater and The O2.

    Shania Plain

by GH on 11/17/23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Show lacked energy and bringing fans up on stage for dress up was boring and drawn out…more stage production would help. I saw KISS a week earlier and it was 10x the show! Shania sounded good but watching a mature woman parade around in a bathing suit didn’t move the needle much for me. An average show overall, thankfully I only paid $60 because the value wasn’t there for any ticket $100+.

The best performance days have come and gone for Shania!

by Candace on 11/16/23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

I am a Super Fan but the Queen of Me DID NOT DELIVER. Shania can't hit nor hold the notes meant for the songs. There was a lot of dancing for her dancers but not so much for Shania. Her one and only costume looked like it was thrown together. I had more fun with the strangers sitting around me than I did watching Shania.

Night with the Queen of Me Tour Shania Twain

by RG on 11/16/23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

The show was so perfect in every way loved the lighting and Shania's performance. The only thing I would take back is the amount of Money I spent on those tickets a 1000.00 to barely see her through the crowd because of two people that were so tall it was sad so half way through the show I noticed empty seats all night that were in a great section close to the stage and the veiw was amazing. Much better than the 1000. dollar tickets so sad I was told those seats were only 180.00each would have been way cheaper and a better night. That is the only complaint never buy floor seats do to the tall people that do not have any respect for the short people behind them. I spent my hard earn money to see the back of someone and not the show most part until I sat in the other seats. Love Shania though thank you for the great performance.

    Amazing show!!

by CG on 11/16/23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

I loved it!! Felt so great to reconnect with my teenager self. There was such great energy in the stadium. The only down thing I found was that the music sounded a bit louder than the signers voice at times.

My first Shania concert was such fun. Even sitting up high the big screens were visible and she sounded amazing . Missed out on the lighted cowboy hat but was able to get a t-shirt . Worth the 6 hr drive and hotel costs to be there

Awesome show awful seats fir that price

by Susan on 11/16/23Canada Life Centre - Winnipeg

The concert was amazing and she was amazing BUT the seats we were in were aweful we sat in the area where the hockey players sit and it wasn't cleaned before the concert so my shoes were stuck to the floor is was disgusting and those tiny little chairs they put in there 7 of us stuck crammed together in that little area couldn't even break the seats apart for space !! Will never sit there again.

To see or not to see!

by Frankie on 11/15/23Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

Frustrating to have tickets state show at 7:30 but Shania does not come on until 9 - however she was on for 2+ hours. Difficult or impossible to sit and watch as everyone around us were standing or jumping around all night. They even blocked the videotron viewing, so very frustrating! The copious liquids imbibed before Shania started resulted in folks in and out of aisles 8 or more times. Guess we will have to stick to watching on TV. Was very frustrating overall. Shania was a good entertainer totally focussed on her audience. Quality of singing has definitely been impacted by her throat surgery, but good on her for carrying on.
