So I don't feel that I really need to say much of anything about the absolutely surreal caliber and quality of performance given by Mike Birbiglia himself; because, well, it was the greatest, most enjoyable, hilarious, heart-warming, thought-provoking, and downright incredible experience of my entire life! However, if it was any other comedian, play, or event of any sort that I saw at the Warner Theater that night, I would have left feeling incredibly depressed and as if I had been straight up robbed with a gun to my head. Because while the theater itself is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and breathtaking - or well at least as nice as any other historic theater I've been in. So really, nothing special, just your average historic theater... But the service/employees, provided/suggested paid parking situation (through ticket booking on liveNation/TicketMaster), event communication and instructions, the $22 "cocktails" that literally had not even a single full shots worth of liquor, the TERRIBLE, uncomfortable and sardine-like packed seats with people on both sides of you literally physically exerting all their weight onto you because no one has anywhere to exist, and everything else about Warner Theater literally made me feel robbed of the greatest night of my life. Because seriously, seriously here, if I had spent that same $200+ that I did to see Mike Birbiglia in even the nearby park outside, it would have been a better venue than Warner Theater. I wouldn't wish an experience at the Warner on my worst enemies. Do yourself a favor and NEVER attend an event there.
