Kelly Clarkson, who began singing as a young girl in her school choir, rose to national fame as the first-ever winner of the popular television show American Idol. While 10,000 hopeful singers auditioned for the show, Clarkson excelled throughout the competition, ultimately taking home the title of American Idol and winning a recording contract with RCA. In 2003, Clarkson released her debut album, Thankful, which went double platinum in the U.S. and featured the hit songs "Miss Independent," "The Trouble with Love Is" and "A Moment Like This." 2004 saw the release of her second album, Breakaway, further establishing the singer as a national star with the hit songs "Walk Away," "Since U Been Gone" and "Breakaway."

Kelly Clarkson was perfect! She sounded amazing, she looked like a million bucks, but for the ticket the show was far too short! I’m thinking that’s what the venue allowed as a show duration and not that she was attempting to cut songs off in order to fit more in. If that was the case then I’d say okay Kelly. I’m a fan so maybe give that grace.. but it seemed more driven by the venue parameters. (Essentially “get the people back to gambling, eating, and drinking..) which I could see as a business professional myself.. it’s a revenue generating activity, but the price of the ticket (WHICH I BOUGHT AT PRESALE OPENING - not from a third party/resale scenario) was not really met as far as duration of concert. I really think she packed a TON in with a limited window of time - so I appreciate that planning for her, the band, the fans. However again if that’s the price for artists at this venue and those limitations on their sets - I would not be interested to pay so much. The staff at the hard rock was phenomenal and the access to venue was fantastic… just a short concert for the price overall. Again, Kelly’s worth a pricier admission/ticket! Especially with a new album! But not if she’s going to be limited to a shortened version/time.
Loved every second of the show. Her combination of extraordinary talent, sweet personality, and ability to relate to her audience all the reasons why I am a fan. Her performance was stellar even with technical difficulties.
Kelly put on a performance that is unforgettable. She has such a beautiful voice as well as personality. I took my 14 yr old daughter and we were both blown away and had the best time. I b would definitely go see her again.
We stayed right at the Hard Rock for the weekend which made attending the show more enjoyable and really simple! Kelly looked great and her performance was fantastic! She is such a “real” gal and I loved that she chatted and joked around throughout her show. Great time!! My only small complaints were with the venue. We had seats to the side of the stage on risers. #1-The big screen could have been turned outward more so that those that couldn’t see her from the front would also be able to at least see her on screen. #2-Once the show started and everyone started dancing, swaying, and bouncing so did the risers …to the point that they felt unsafe and the swaying and bouncing movement was making me feel sick sitting there.
As always Kelly brings her A game! If you haven’t seen her live you are missing out.
She was amazing but the concert felt short …no opener and music for about 90 minutes…wish it could have been longer or included an opener as the tickets were not cheap. That said she was fun, engaging and sounded great!
Let’s face it. The woman can sing!!!! She is humble and funny, love the segways she used for her set. She is one of the most talented vocalist I’ve ever heard. Have loved her since day 1 of Idol.
