We bought seats at ticketmaster for well over $150.00 for a pair, we were set in some fold open chairs in the far corner of the theater, surrounded by noisey teenagers. We couldn't even enjoy the show with the constant bickering and comments from the surrounding group, paying this much for this kind of setting is outrageous. I would strongly consider finding another show to attend instead of this.
While hard to define or explain, BMG is, quite simply, 90 minutes of excitement. A fast moving combination of physical performance,visual artistic feats, music, drumming, humor, technological tricks, and audience interaction. It will engage you completely.
Very entertaining show with good (sometimes loud) music and a few laughs.

It was a fantastic show.I feel very fortunate that it was brought to Rokford. I wish we had more shows like this to go to. I don't care to go to Chicago all the time. It was great!!!

Really liked the musical things they did. They're acting out without speaking is very good too. It just seemed to drag in a few areas and I guess I expected more.

Hard to describe this show! It was hugely entertaining for me (46 years old) and my 10 year old daughter. I would highly recommend this show to anyone!
This was our first time seeing Blue Man Group. They made us laugh which we all need to do more. The show was about an hour and a half long and we would have appreciated it being a little longer. Their musical instruments were very different and fun to look at and hear them play. We would go see them again. They had the audience participate at times and that was fun as well. If you go, have a great time!
First time seeing the Blue Man Group and I was not disappointed. The audience participation, excellent rhythm, and unique comedy is an experience I will enjoy again. Take the family.
This was the second time I had been to Blue Man Group. It was just as terrific as the first time. It's such an original show, with something fun for all ages. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. I sat in the front row this time, which is the splash zone. They provide ponchos, which is great. If you don't want anything flying at you, I'd suggest sitting a few rows back. All in all, it's a wonderful, family-friendly show. I highly recommend it.
The show was energetic, never boring and interactive! My son loved every bit of it as I did.
We brought our grandsons, ages 7 and 5. They loved most of it. At times, there was too much reading for them. It was a fast moving show with no intermission. The audience was totally involved and reacted to each antic. It was a fun crowd.
Creatively inspirational. They teach while entertaining...you look forward to each moment of blue-faced speculation.
A combination of the cerebral, visual, auditory, with a generous side of slapstick! Great show with literally something for everyone! A really fun time!
This was the third time we have seen the Blue Man Group. The show is highly entertaining but the venue is important. A smaller theater like the Coronado is best for this type of show. A large venue like the Convo Center in DeKalb or the BMO arena would not be good, in my opinion. Two people were brought on stage from the audience which added to the entertainment. The show is non-stop and hard to describe to someone not familiar with the act. The group exploits, in a good way, what happens during the show. Example: two people came into the theater about 20 minutes late. They were singled out with a camera and spotlights. All in all, a very good show. We saw them in Boston for the first time 14 years ago. They have modernized their performance to include the latest technology.
My 9 year old son and I sat in the front row. Memories to last a lifetime!
