A major punk band for over two decades, Social Distortion came out of Los Angeles's active hardcore scene of the late '70s and early '80s. Their first album, Mommy's Little Monster, appeared in 1983 and featured the song "Another State of Mind," which aired as one of a few punk videos on mid-'80s MTV. Since then, Social Distortion have further developed their mix of punk and rockabilly with such songs as "Ball and Chain," "Bad Luck" and "Reach for the Sky." To this day, Social Distortion remain one of punk's most exciting and vital bands. Over the course of their career, Social Distortion have brought many venues to capacity, like Observatory North Park and the Mission Ballroom.

Really awesome talent and performance. Venue staff were awesome and dedicated. Maybe the venue was too big and cavernous. But it was a load of fun and energy.
Great show!! Great staff!! Great venue!! Both Social D & Bad Religion were great, as usual.
Concert was great! Both Bad Religion and Social D killed it! The venue was great as well, I like a smaller, more intimate venue anyway and there were no bad seats!
Band was great - Venue was not! The Amp added temp seating and the audio was terrible in the new seating in the outside 300 section. There was a terrible echo/feedback which was not corrected with the new seating. Don't waste your money on these seats.
This was the best show I’ve seen in years. All three bands were fantastic, with the surprise of the day being Love Crimes. This is Mike Ness’s son’s band. They were fantastic!!!! I would go see them again anytime. They even hung out at their merch booth to meet people after the show. I got all of their autographs. Social D gave their usual 120% on stage and it was as good as I have ever seen them. In some ways even better. Mike just survived a bout with cancer and that changes a person. He spoke a few times during the show and the things he said were heartfelt and sincere. He even brought his son Julian on stage for the first ever performance of a brand new song. They played several fan favorites and some newer songs, all of which are just great. They ended the show with Ring of Fire!!!!!!!! Just amazing!!!! Bad Religion……… Man I gotta tell you that watching a band perform at that level 42 years in is a thing to behold. They sound just like they always have. Simply incredible. Those guitars and amplifiers just blow my mind. They put on a clinic for how a really professional band should sound. They were airtight on tempo, musically perfect, and still raw. I don’t know how they do it!!!!! I hope this exact combo tours together again . I would see that every year.
The bands were off the hook. Sound system and lights were great and the venue is wide open field no obstacles. Going back a lot
Wow what a great show! Was so excited to see mike and the boys back after his health battle, and they didn't miss a beat. The amp is one of our favorite places to see a show and the opportunity to see my favorite band for the past 30+ years was a real treat. The venue is always super cool and laid back tucked away in the woods. What a great night!
The Roxy is beautiful, cool, clean, great views, great sound, I could go on. The EP Lounge is amazing. Cool vibes and free food with a private bathroom and bar. The show had old school club vibes with all the best amenities. Bring more great shoes here! I will go!
As usual everything was smoothe as silk on your end. My phone died so i had to get a printed ticket. That managed to go smoother than expected. And after the band went in, the whole night was perfect.
Thanks to Firefly for bringing Social Distortion and Bad Religion to Charleston, ahem North Charleston. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve seen Social D. It was great and to hear Mike Ness talk so plainly about his illness and the gratitude he has for the fans was lovely.
Social Distortion was pretty good. I've never been a huge fan but I appreciate their sound. No offense to Social Distortion but I went to the show to see Bad Religion. I don't think I'm the only one either. They were really great, soo tight! The energy of the band an the crowd was huge. They had never played near Charleston and I think they were really surprised by a larger and more enthusiastic fan base than they expected. That was very cool to be a part of.
Great show at a great venue! Seeing Social Distortion live was an unreal experience!
Social Distortion and Bad Religion both put on great shows. Also surprised at how good the opening band, Lovecrimes was. Only disappointment was the VIP section. The view was mostly blocked by the elevated bottle service area. It was also sloped, so people in the back were lower than those in the front. A lot of people were complaining they couldn't really see. Not really a VIP experience for what we paid.
This was a fantastic show. Everyone sounded just like they do on their albums. I could understand every word and no distortion (no pun intended). Very high energy and interacted with the crowd.
Saw Social D with Bad Religion in Charleston SC at FireFly. The venue was awesome, and to have two iconic bands touring together is EPIC! Grew up with both these bands in SoCal (hailing from Fullerton in OC). Such a great show. Planning to see more shows at FireFly for sure! Hope Social D and Bad Religion come back soon.
It was a great time there brought back memories from 25-30 years ago. Good people were there. The outside venue was very nice in Charleston, South Carolina and the band played great. Social D was who I was there to see.
What else can you say about Social Distortion or Bad Religion that has not already been said. Mike Ness the godfather of punk rock. Bad Religion the fun and evil genius’s with their smart lyrics and unbelievable talent.. great night
Both the show Social D and Bad Religion and the venue the Firefly distillery was outstanding
Great concert and the venue was perfect. Social D sounded great!
