The play was really great with several twists. It was really nice that just beforte the play Peruvian music was played in the auditorium, given that the author, Vargas Llosa, is Peruvian. There were only 2 actors in the play, both excellent with clear articulation and natural acting (they did not overplay their roles). The staging was not very original or interesting, it was rather basic.
We really like the BlackBox theater, it is a small, intimate space. The only issue we had is the FREEZING temperatures (just like in the main auditorium), the AC going full blast when the outside temp is only in the 50's. A lot of money could be saved on A/C by the MDCA and the public would be a lot more comfortable.
