    Not Worth The Money

by Aimee on 3/19/24BOK Center - Tulsa

This was not worth the money unfortunately. They had 3 sets of 3 cars to "jump"over and like 4 different monster trucks who all did the same thing. Not enough action. Not enough demolition. My 9yr old was bored and ready to go before we got to intermission.

    Love, love, loved it

by Cindy on 3/19/24BOK Center - Tulsa

Loved the Glow Hotwheels Party. It was like a party for us 4 grandparents that went together. We were afraid it would be too loud but it was just right. The motorcycles were our favorite.

    Slow, tired, multiple breakdowns

by EF on 3/19/24BOK Center - Tulsa

My family and I attended the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Glow Party and were underwhelmed by the experience. The show started off with energy as the trucks were announced to the floor. The energy fell off quickly during the first event of the “competition” as a truck rolled over. While accidents are understandable, the well meaning hosts tried to keep the crowd going but the toy and t shirt giveaways were lackluster and did not fill the time. After the event resumed, two additional trucks stopped working entirely with one having to be towed away. This once again stopped the event and the massive delays were cumbersome. The “scoring” of events were long and drawn out, and the overall pace of the show stalled. As a parent trying to keep two toddlers entertained this was not ideal because they wanted to leave and became disinterested when their favorite truck disappeared without mention. There were a few highlights of the show which included a fire breathing truck and motocross, but that alone wasn’t enough to save the show.

    Pleasantly surprised - fantastic show!

by Kels on 3/19/24BOK Center - Tulsa

After reading other reviews of this show that mentioned it being dull and too short, I was pleasantly surprised. I took two 10 year old boys who have both been to monster truck shows before. They had a blast. We have only seen Monster Jam, so the Hot Wheels show was new to us. The showmanship and organization were both great. We had great seats, right in the middle lower section. My boys got to shake hands with one of the hosts who was working the crowd. We appeared on the Jumbotron which they loved. Lots of good music and crowd interaction. We met the new truck, 5 Alarm. We could also feel the heat from the fire breathing dragon/dino! The order of the show is right on pace to keep you entertained. Great tricks from all the drivers. Perfect score on Donuts for Bone Shaker! (But I was cheering for Bigfoot!) And we also enjoyed the motocross!! 2 hour show with about a 15 minute intermission. Great for kids and adults alike. Bring or purchase ear coverings for littles.

    Blown Away

by Mill on 3/19/24BOK Center - Tulsa

I wasn’t expecting much out of this seeing as how it just seemed like an overpriced kids event. BUT LET ME TELL YOU…..at this point I still don’t know who had more fun the kids or the adults. This was an absolute blast they kept the audience engaged so well the show was put on like a very well oiled machine and they just kept you guess as to what was gonna happens next. If you’re on the edge take the leap and buy the tickets it’s so well worth it!

    Great if your 5!

by Matt on 3/19/24BOK Center - Tulsa

This was an awesome experience if you’re 5 years old. My 5 year old loved it. My 8 year old loved it. I was disappointed that the trucks ran about 45 minutes of the 2 hour show.

Not for anyone over the age of 10

by Brooksher on 3/19/24BOK Center - Tulsa

Took our 14-year-old to the Tulsa event, was good to see the trucks but it was kind of lame and barely did any jumps...just basically did donuts on the concrete floor. Was over less than 2 hours, but we were ready to go as it wasn't entertaining anyways.

Long, drawn-out, not for young kids, changed our seats

    by Gma23 on 3/17/24

For starters when we got there and scanned our tickets they told us that when they started setting up for the show the Hot Wheels teamed deamed the seats we had unsafe so they bumped us to seats that weren't near as good as the $700 we spent in tickets, there was 11 of us. Then the pre show started at 12pm, because of the ticket issue thst ran us 30 minutes late. It was so unorganized when we got down there with no direction of where to go oe what we were doing. They gave us papers that all the kids could go get signed by the driver after waiting in line, or spend $15 on a driver's license, there was nothing engaging for younger kids, we had 2years-11 and they all got bored of it. After that we found our seats and found that they sucked not only our view but the whole section is where they moved everyone that their seats were deamed unsafe so all the people were fussing and cussing the whole time. (These seats weren't sold because they sucked to begin with lol) then the area was just to small and it was drawn out, they could have cut the show in half but it waz a lot of sitting and listening to them talk all the kids got bored and 4 of my group actually left early because the kids were so bored.

    Fun time

by NolaFam on 3/13/24Smoothie King Center - New Orleans

The only complaint I have is the crash zone pre-show I paid extra for. There should have been more options for over 2 hours for the kids. My 6 year old got bored. Through a spacewalk in or something

    Great for littler kids

by BoyMom on 3/13/24Mid-America Center - Council Bluffs

My twin boys age 7 LOVED this show and said it was the best day ever. As adults we found some parts boring but watching the kids scream while the dinosaur ate a car was pretty great. This is not like the other mainstream monster truck show. This is definitely geared toward a younger audience. We loved the motorcycles. Bring ear protection for comfort.

    Hot wheels

by KC on 3/13/24Smoothie King Center - New Orleans

I understand Hot wheels and Monster Jam are two different entities, but we love them both the same. It's disappointing to see Hot Wheels in the smoothie king center. They need to always be in the Super Dome when in NOLA. I feel like they dont have space to be amazing like the show can actually be! Please in the future have it in the dome so its more enjoyable!!

    Too small

by Ctate on 3/13/24Smoothie King Center - New Orleans

Having monster trucks in the smoothly king center wasn't the best. The arena didn't have enough room for the trucks to move around too much. The show was good for what they had the room for but just wasn't any where close to the monster jam when they had it in the superdome a few years ago.

    Monster Trucks Rule

by Hal on 3/13/24Smoothie King Center - New Orleans

The Monster Trucks Show was great. It was a surprise for my 5 year old son. He was ecstatic. He was glued to the action the entire time. The motor bike stunt show during the middle of the show was amazing also. The only issue we had was that the line to enter the venue was extremely slow. We arrived 10 minutes prior to the pre-party start time, but we did not get into the party until 30 minutes after it started, so we only had 45 minutes to attend. This did not give us enough time to stand in line for all 6 monster trucks to get an autograph and photo with the drivers.

    Fun Experience with Kids

by PowerFish on 3/13/24Mid-America Center - Council Bluffs

Bring earplugs or earmuffs for the kids sensitive to the noise. It's fairly loud. Show was good, MCs made it fun and interacted with the audience a lot. 3 of the 7 trucks broke down during the event, which was not a bad thing in the audience, it just meant they were going hard and making a good show. Motorcycles were super cool. Expensive for what it is, but my 3 boys ages 7-21 had fun and were entertained.

    Boring

by Jaime on 3/13/24Smoothie King Center - New Orleans

This show was very boring . Totally waste of time. Didn’t even keep the kids interested. My family left before the show ended
