Hairspray had a ton of jokes and a lot of lines made you think “didn’t think of it that way”. It had great singing and dancing too.

The show was great all the cast did a phenomenal job. My issue was with the sound. It did not fill up the room. The sound felt like it was all treble and no bass in many parts. My friend and I all agreed the sound wasn’t good which is odd because Dolby is the sponsor of the building.

My husband and I hadn’t seen Hairspray since maybe 2008? We have a 12 year old (who’s very into history, specifically through a social justice lens) and a 9 year old who just loves the magic of musical theater. This performance was the first time we’ve seen it live with an actual Drag Queen as Edna and WOW!! It was a whole new level of performance!! I’m so glad we were able to see this. We saw on it on a Wednesday night and the energy was just high as a Friday or Saturday night. The talent of EVERYONE was out of this world. Such a must see!!!

Was an absolutely fabulous show. Funny, energetic, captivating, dazzling, dynamic show. As soon as it was over I wanted to buy tickets to see it again the next day. A must see!

This is one of mine and my 18 year old daughters' all-time favorite musicals and this cast did not disappoint! The vocal ranges were spot on and everyone in the crowd was singing and dancing in their seats at the end! It is such a feel good show and Edna had our heart! Definitely go see it! It will brighten your day for sure!!!

Actors were clearly having fun, they all had their personalities, they didn’t just copy and paste from one actor to another. Had loads of fun

The cast was terrific and it was Marc Shaimin's score at it's very best. Totally loved it.

This was a great production of Hairspray. I have seen it about 4 times including the original cast in New York. This was a gret cast and overall production. It was high energy. The choreography and dancers were great. All the cast really delivered.

Hairspray is always a good time, and this cast doesn’t disappoint. Great sets, lighting and costumes too!

Loved every moment-so funny and powerful. The cast was so good and they played each part to perfection!

The show was great and my kids had a wonderful time. However, the house staff at the Dolby was rude and obnoxious. It’s clear that they are stressed with crowd control and ensuring everyone is seated, gets through the concessions line etc. Yelling at audience members is not okay. Refusing to allow us to pay separately of our friends at concessions because there is a line is not okay. Yelling at us to exit through the door when we are headed toward an elevator, is not okay. Dolby needs to have a discussion with their house staff.

Exactly what live theatre musicals are about: energy, excitement, ensemble, skill, momentum, and the power to transform the audience! Perfect production of this show I know very well, having directed a production myself. If you are not on your feet, clapping and singing during the curtain call, you aren’t human!

This is such an incredible show, with high energy, fun, laughter, and a Great message. You will be thoroughly Entertained by this Cast of Amazing Professionals with their singing and high energy dancing, and with their costumes, set design and orchestra play, and lastly the ending finality will leave you mesmerized, so it's a must see Musical!!!!

On Friday- I took my mom to see the show @ the Dolby theatre and it was our first time there. At check-out, I paid for the parking and I think that was the best decision I could’ve done because the parking was conveniently located in the same building! The staff was quick and kind, which added to the experience. The musical was INCREDIBLE and I am considering going to another showing. 10/10 would recommend.

This touring group had lots of high energy, great acting and singing They made it Fun for everyone Definitely one not to be missed
