The show was hilarious the whole way through. The cast was so incredibly talented! I was blown away at their vocals. Even the lighting and set designs were great! Even if you have never seen the original movie(which was the case of a couple of ladies sitting behind us who shared this opinion) this is a must see!
Definitely not the worst show I’ve seen. Some cute things. Some decent lessons to learn. As I saw it on opening night-there were some lighting and sound cues that were significantly off. But overall a good night at the theater.
Excellent play, great venue. This time, technical difficulties on 3 different occasions broke the focus multiple times which hurt the overall experience. The one big thing-again- at Hershey theater is the complete lack of assistance trying to create a smooth egress from the event. The parking lot is a free for all, with chaos and long waits that take away from the entire experience. It makes me not want to go there. There must be more people assisting with traffic merges from the main lot.
The songs were stupid, no dancing, bad script. I actually left it five songs left. The movie is 100% better.
It was a great show! Besides the technical difficulties twice and had to wait which was frustrating. Also too much inappropriate language for children. There shouldn’t have been children watching this show. Other than that I enjoyed the show!
Despite a few delays from technical difficulties, the performance was incredible!
Hilariously funny! But there need to be a rating for this performance as I saw numerous little children attending. This is for a mature audience only. Personally, I enjoyed it and thought it was funny but forewarning needs addressed.
Mean Girls the musical is a must see. My daughter and I had a wonderful time!
Mean Girls was fun and exciting. The songs were great. The actors were awesome. Suitable for young teens on up. Followed the movie but nothing inappropriate.
Karen was the best part of this musical. I was impressed the first half with the story and songs. In the second half I thought things made less sense and the story got lost. I didn’t like that Regina wasn’t blond. They changed “doesn’t Aaron look sexy with his hair pushed back” to what color are his eyes and it seemed like a pointless question to ask. Also the addition of Aaron living out district was unnecessary. There were a few mic and lighting issues. At first I was very impressed with the voice choices, but by the second half, I don’t know what was going on but it seemed lackluster. I would not go see it again. Karen was better in this version than the soundtrack.
I went into this experience with no prior knowledge of what to expect. I laughed and laughed. Brought back some of those painful memories from high school in a comical way. Loved it!!
Great dancing. Actors are so energetic and vocals are outstanding. Funny and entertaining.
Mean Girls Musical was a great adaptation to the original movie. I enjoyed how they brought the show current by changing some of the lines, yet they stayed true to the movie. A fabulous production; great songs and dance; acting was incredible. Overall a really fun night out with my friends!
Fun, fast paced show!! Lots of fun!! Also, Security to get in improved from the last show I attended!
We saw the opening in Syracuse … If you are a Mean Girls fan, or love a fun , colorful, energetic musical with a great message … run to see Mean Girls when this tour comes to your city! Every lead and principle is incredibly talented and tell a truthful, hysterical tale of high school!!! The vocals are insane, and they nail all the iconic characters! The amazing ensemble dance and sing their hearts out!!! There”s something for everyone and this tour lives up to exactly what I saw years ago in the original Broadway show! Bravo to the cast, crew, and creative team!
It was a pretty simple process; my first time using Ticketmaster. I had some problems establishing my password but it all worked out.
The show was excellent. The talent was impressive and scenery changes were flawless.
We loved the play! Characters, storyline, acting, orchestra..... was on point! But .... and it was a huge distraction from the singing parts.... the mic system was horrible. It took so much from the singer/song, at times you wanted to cover your ears.
The show was great. My wife and I enjoyed it. So much talent on one stage. The Hershey Theatre was disappointing though. Was uncomfortably warm the whole show. Bathrooms are small and gross. Show started late and intermission was longer then usual. The people seating the people placed them wrong so there was lots of getting up and getting in correct seats. Theatre is outdated and we won’t see a show there again.
As someone who loves the movie, I was afraid that I wouldn’t like the musical as much but it was so exciting to watch!! It was hilarious and the cast was talented beyond words. Would highly recommend to everyone, if you love the movie you will love the musical just as much. Go Mean Girls!!
