Cruel Intentions: The 90s Musical (Chicago) Tickets

I wasn’t sure what to expect going to this play but my girls who grew up in the 90s wanted to see it. It was one of the best plays I’ve ever seen. The cast did an unbelievable job, they played their characters very well and they seemed to enjoy themselves as much as the audience did. There were times you wanted to give a standing ovation in the middle of the play as the scene was done so well. Definitely see it if you have a chance!

This was such a great time! They really casted well and they stuck true to the movie with flare in between. All the songs for well into the play and 90s jams are everything. Was not disappointed at all and pleasantly surprised how awesome this play was! I would see it again but sadly it is only playing until the 14th. Go see it if u love this movie and 90s jams!

Cruel Intentions is one of my favorite films so I was super excited to see the musical. Unfortunately, the charm and humor of the movie did not come across on stage. The actors rushed through their dialogue and never seemed to pause--even after a funny line. The cast is incredibly talented--no doubt--but didn't seem to have any chemistry with one another. Also, the audio/sound was way too loud for the venue. It could have been turned down a lot! Something was definitely off about this production.

It is a fun show. I'm older and didn't know most of the music, but by the audience reaction and the context it was easy to follow the humor and irony of the selected songs. Most of the actors have great voices and all had great rapport with the audience. The downside is that in musicals the instrumentals are played too loud and the actors often cannot be heard over the instruments. If we're there to sing along, having them matched is best, but if we are to hear the dialogue hidden in the lyrics, we have to be able to hear what's being said. Otherwise, a fun show.

I haven't had this much fun at the theatre in years. What a fun rollicking good time.

I absolutely loved the show! I’m obsessed with the movie and I couldn’t wait to see the musical - even though I was a little scared they might ruin it - but I had no reason to fear because besides being true to the movie they perfectly added the soundtrack of our 90s dreams to it! Everyone was laughing and singing alone and it was just great!

Great cast that really seemed to enjoy each other. Fun music!

Best to see with a large group of good friends, not a first of second or even third date. You have to know the movies for this show to make any sense. The instruments overpowered the vocals and everything else.

I expected so much more. I like the fact that the musical followed the movie exactly. However, overall I have to give it a 3 stars because it was majorly cheesy.

The show cast looked very much like those from the movie and for me thst helped me to enjoy the play more. I liked all the music. It came at the right time and while i am older than when i saw it as a youngster, i know that this play was definitely for mature audiences.

The cast of Cruel Intentions: The 90s Musical (Chicago) was absolutely amazing! The casting was spot on and each character was fantastic. As a fan of the movie, I had high expectations... I was simply blown away by the show. I highly recommend it!

The cast was great and the musical is fun if you love 90s nostalgia. But there were a lot of technical issues with this theatre and the curtain call went on way too long.
