ALADDIN, one of Broadway's most extravagant spectacles, is on tour in a production that’s dazzling audiences across North America. Like the hit musical comedy that opened at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre in 2014 — and broke 14 New Amsterdam box-office records — ALADDIN’s touring production has been a runaway smash. Since launching its second national tour in October 2022, the touring production has perfectly embodied the Broadway show’s eye-popping illusions, glittering-gold costumes and stargazing rendition of “A Whole New World.” With music by Academy Award-winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and costuming by Tony Award-winner Gregg Barnes, ALADDIN is “Exactly What You Wish For!” (NBC-TV).

The show was so phenomenal, they had some modern comedy to it, magic tricks and the cast was all fantastic. There was never a moment when I thought “is this over yet” the voices were beautiful, the dances and band were very well choreographed! I would absolutely go see this show again if they come back through. Both my kids loved it and even my mother who is very picky.

Each actor did an incredible job and of course Genie took things over the top. This is a play for the whole family and it does a wonderful job of including diverse actors. Once again all I can say is how wonderful it was the singing, dancing, plot twists and different dilemmas that each character is going through with all of the laughing is quite amazing! The visuals are stunning and the costumes and spectacular. Once again this is a wonderful play for all ages. Not once did my son say it was boring. My daughter enjoyed every moment.

The lighting and graphics were one of my favorite things about this show. You could also tell that the cast took it seriously to entertain the viewers. My only con was the landmark theater is very uncomfortable to sit and view a show like that. The seats were small. The people in front of you were blocking the stage. It was also very cold at times and then all of a sudden very warm. (FYI - I was not ill the night of the show.) 5/5 for the show!
