We”ve loved all her specials so we were really looking forward to this ! We” re glad she’s having a lot of sex as a divorced woman but it just went on and on and not funny . Her relationships were more pathetic than funny . Perhaps since she’s “ become a millionaire” and “ an Emmy winning award actress “ ( as she constantly reminded us ) her life experiences just went interesting enough material anymore .
Ali Wong once again does not disappoint. She is a brilliant comedian and actor. Laughed the entire time.
First of all, we were all fabulously surprised by Sheng Wang being her opening act! I watched him before on YouTube multitudes of times. It was like I got to see two big starts for the price of one! He was hysterical!!! THEN, here comes Ali Wong who with the grace and ease of any high level performer, achieves a brilliantly low bar and a extremely high bar at the same time for how far she will go for a laugh!!!! That's what I love about her! I love her realness, crudeness, honest personal perspective, and how she weaves her current life into a tapestry of hilarity!!! God bless her journey for I am still laughing!!! I think we all rolled out of seats on many occasions!
Enjoyed the show especially when she spoke in normal tones (volume). Lower tones were impossible to hear in lower balcony seats.
As always she gives a very funny, shocking performance. The best female comedian out there.
She's hilarious, has a great opener, overall funny show.
the seats we had were a great view, the show was amazing. Just wasnt a fan of being ushered out so quickly due to the following show.
We have watched Ally Wong's Netflix specials so when we heard she would be in Tucson, decided to go. She is funny and raw. Her comedy is definitely aimed at adults. Her stories about her divorce were very funny. I thought she might talk about something other than her divorce but it was a one topic show. She is a very talented person and we look forward to seeing her again.
Felt safe. Security was very tight and efficient. Had floor seats. Great view unobstructed view. Seats were comfortable. Ali was hilarious.
I love me some Ali Wong but her set on 12/23 @ SF Masonic was not her best. There were a couple times I laughed out loud but there wasn’t anything hysterically funny. 80% of the content was about her divorce (I’m glad she did that for herself) but it was repetitive and unrelatable when she spoke about her experiences. I’m still her fan and will continue to support her - just didn’t like this set. Oh, parking was like $50!
Especially her Netflix specials from years ago when she was pregnant. Gawd, she was funny! I think this time around wasn't the bees knees for me because my wife, whose birthday it was, was tired and angry with me. She had decided to hold a grudge against me and it kinda ruined my enjoyment of Ali's set. Now if only I was Ali's boyfriend... (It was the theme of her set).
Two great comedians in a nice comfortable venue with decent drinks. Horrible security line on the way in, though. It was like being at a third world airport for 10 minutes
Would not recommend performances at The Masonic in San Francisco. Uncomfortable cramped seats without elevated rose, which made it very hard to see the show. That said, Ali Wong was the best standup I’ve seen this year. She was fantastic, not for kids.
Ali Wong is phenomenal. She is so intelligent and hilarious. We cried from laughing so hard. We had such a wonderful time!
Ali Wong just knows how to get a good laugh out of the crowd. She was amazing and her performance was just so Ali. Our seats had a great view of the stage too.
Ali was amazing. The Masonic totally sucked. Will NOT EVER GO BACK.
The venue was nice but definitely needs to be updated regarding the chairs and stair carpeting. Its not very comfortable sit in at all and a bit hard to walk on these old facets. Other than that the show was good and the staff was nice. I'd go again.
I have never laughed harder!!!!!! I laughed for one and a half hours nonstop!
Ali Wong’s Performance is Hilarious! A lot of her jokes I was Laughing getting some side-cramps! I can relate to Ali of her various experiences of some of her dates. So true! Ali is very thoroughly Expressive in detail. We’re Glad Ali decided to do a Tour! Fantastic Talent to show the world. 😃👏👏🌸😆😂🤣😅 Another native San Franciscan. 🌆🌉🚃 The Comedian Shang Wang prior to Ali is Great and Funny too! Love his Clear, yet Calm Deep Expressive Projective Voice!! Shang should be an Actor in a Movie too! Masonic Temple Theater was very well Organized. Impressed of the Quantity and Helpfulness of all the Workers! They got the huge crowd of Fans walking smoothly and effectively to get processed to our seats.
