One of the best comedy shows

by Bert on 5/15/24The Wiltern - Los Angeles

I had high expectations and those expectations were met and then some. Ali Wong is hilarious and smart. The pace and timing were excellent. I attended the last night of her residency and her show was immaculate. Respect.

    Bad acoustics at The Wiltern

by Tiffany on 5/14/24The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Venue is not good for standup comedy. When comedian is soft-spoken, it’s hard for audience to hear.

    Meh

by LAKW on 5/13/24The Wiltern - Los Angeles

It was okay. Not as good as her first Netflix special. She talked about her divorce and dating for an hour; I wish she talked about literally any other topic to add variety. She also loves to bring up things like "I'm Ali Wong and a millionaire!"and expects people to clap for that. Like okay cool - good for you?? Overall it was a 6 out of 10. I wouldn't go again.

    Great night!

by Meli on 5/12/24The Wiltern - Los Angeles

She is the greatest! I left the Wiltern with a huge smile on my face and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for being a woman in her mid forties. Thank you Ali, for reminding me to appreciate myself. I have earned it!

Be careful going to the Wiltern

by Daniella on 5/12/24The Wiltern - Los Angeles

I love Ali Wong. She is great. The venue I had issues with. First when purchasing parking the pass clearly said Premier Parking but I got turned away at the parking to be told it was only club access and not parking which made no sense to me. Also the seating was terrible. I paid $400 for two seats that were so close to each other I kept brushing elbows with the person next to me and I couldn't see a thing. They didn't stagger the chairs so you could see. The whole time all I saw were peoples heads in front of me and a big part of the experienxe is seeing the comedians expressions I give it a 2/10. I won't go back to the Wiltern knowing this is how they do it

    Funny but Short

by Jess on 5/12/24The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Ali was funny as usual but this is the shortest performance I have ever been to. Especially after driving in LA traffic. Her portion was 45 minutes at most. I expected more from her. I could have stayed home and watched her special.

    Couldn't see anything!

by Nf on 5/10/24The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Ali was great, Seating was terrible and not spaced well, stacked one behind the other and not alternate. You'd be better off buying balcony seats however unsure if the venue is tiered. Travelled from oversees to see the back of everyone's heads!
