The show was awesome and really funny. It was as I expected.
So funny my cheeks still hurt thinking about it! Highly recommend, especially if you are a woman in your 40s.
Ali Wong was hilarious!! Been too long since she toured. So glad she’s back. Go see her! Totally worth it
It's refreshing to find comics who continue to push the genre forward with hilariously amazing storytelling, fresh witty material, and a unique voice + POV. Ali is one of the best live performers out there....in the echelon with Chappelle, Chris Rock, Bill Burr --- she's that level of funny and genius. Money well spent.
Allie was her usual incredibly funny self. The warm up comedian was also outstanding. Allie was inappropriately funny and nasty all at the same time. I love her honesty and the way she finds humor in things like divorce. She says the things we are all thinking.
Both Sheng Wang & Ali Wong are comedic powerhouses! So so funny. Also happy to see AAPI represent.
I had tears in my eyes throughout Ali's performance. She says it like she sees it, no apologies! She talks about her life after divorce. There's a reason why she was in Chicago for 3 nights!
Ali Wong is just as funny - if not more so - in real life than on tv!! Run, don’t walk, to get your hands on these tickets!
I love it! Aside from the mic issue during Sheng's opening, everything was enjoyable!
Ali Wong’s performance in Detroit, was like watching a Master Class in person. She was (headache worthy) hilarious, consistently engaging with the audience, and refreshingly honest with her content. I liked Ali going in, I became a lifelong fan walking out.
Loved her show! She’s awesome and I enjoyed the whole time, laughed my tears out!! Thank you for brought Asian culture into the show!!!
Funny, fierce, and true to her self as always. Loved it!
Ali Wong is by far the funniest comedian of our time. She is 100 percent truthful and is so open about her highly relatable mom/ wifie scenarios.
Ali Wong is the real deal. Hilarious and tells it like it is - mixes in her own personal details - and is not afraid to offend or be herself. This was a great show. I'm glad she scheduled so many more in Chicago!!
Ali Wong is the funniest person alive. I hope Sheng Wang always opens for her even when he is doing his own shows at the Chicago Theater. I need them both.
We”ve loved all her specials so we were really looking forward to this ! We” re glad she’s having a lot of sex as a divorced woman but it just went on and on and not funny . Her relationships were more pathetic than funny . Perhaps since she’s “ become a millionaire” and “ an Emmy winning award actress “ ( as she constantly reminded us ) her life experiences just went interesting enough material anymore .
Ali Wong once again does not disappoint. She is a brilliant comedian and actor. Laughed the entire time.
First of all, we were all fabulously surprised by Sheng Wang being her opening act! I watched him before on YouTube multitudes of times. It was like I got to see two big starts for the price of one! He was hysterical!!! THEN, here comes Ali Wong who with the grace and ease of any high level performer, achieves a brilliantly low bar and a extremely high bar at the same time for how far she will go for a laugh!!!! That's what I love about her! I love her realness, crudeness, honest personal perspective, and how she weaves her current life into a tapestry of hilarity!!! God bless her journey for I am still laughing!!! I think we all rolled out of seats on many occasions!
Enjoyed the show especially when she spoke in normal tones (volume). Lower tones were impossible to hear in lower balcony seats.
As always she gives a very funny, shocking performance. The best female comedian out there.
