Good in Theory, Accents Not Needed

The whole idea of the play was that it was "Italian" in Italy. Kids that went to this play were ages 3-5. That are still learning how to speak proper English, it seemed to me that many kids got antsy because they could not follow what the actors were saying with their "Italian/English" accents. In my opinion this is a kids play, the accents aren't needed. They would enjoy it just as much if the actors just spoke a non-accented English. Otherwise, the play was great, I really enjoyed it. It was only an hour, which is about how long most kids will sit still for a play.
