Seeing Alvin Ailey's Dance Troupe perform is always a wonderful experience and NJPAC is a great venue for the arts. I took my teenage granddaughters to see them for their first time. They absolutely loved it!! They had not seen anything like it before and they thanked me profusely for taking them to see the performance. We enjoyed it immensely.
Alvin Aiey is American modern dance excellence. NJPAC is an excellent venue to experience Alvin Ailey.
Alvin Ailey's dance company has been one of my favorites since Judith Jamison was dancing! I went every year up until COVID. I had never seen a performance at NJPac before, always at City Center. As always, I loved it. It is poignant and extremely uplifting at once!
I took my daughters (ages 5 and 8) to see Alvin Ailey for the first time on Mother's Day, and they both loved it! Very diverse and interesting program and Revelations is always so impactful.
Wonderful ushers so enthusiastic about what they do. Beautiful theatre. Great acoustics. Seats are ALL good.
It was a great show with diverse performances, some of which I had not seen before. I highly recommend it.

While Alvin Ailey is still a delight, we've seen too many empty seats, tickets should be more affordable for a wider variety of audience! give them to children/students - the next generation of Dance lovers!
I’ve never seen a dance routine flowed as one continuous performance! That was excellent to observe and I loved the different themes. Also it should be noted that even though the entire company has excellent performers, it was very refreshing to see equal parts of men and women on stage! We don’t get to see too many male dancers, and I loved the variation of performances incorporating both genders!
I loved loved loved it! It was a wonderful show. The best seats as well. The dancers and performance was amazing and memorizing. It is a must see. I highly recommend it.
