About

Chelsea Handler is a comedian, television host, New York Times best-selling author and advocate whose humor and candor have established her as one of the most celebrated voices in entertainment and pop culture. After a strong seven-year run as the host of E!'s top-rated Chelsea Lately, a tenure in which she was the only female late-night talk show host on-air, she launched her documentary series Chelsea Does followed by her talk show Chelsea on Netflix in 2016. She has penned six best-selling books, five of which have reached #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list, including 2019's Life Will Be the Death of Me. She will executive produce and star in a TV adaptation of the book under her production banner, Chelsea Handler Productions.

In 2022, Handler made her return to Netflix with her critically acclaimed comedy special Revolution. It follows the success of her 2020 HBO Max comedy special Evolution, which earned Chelsea a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album. In 2021, she launched her iHeart Radio advice podcast, Dear Chelsea, and embarked on the Vaccinated and Horny Tour, bringing her sensational stand-up set to 90+ cities with 115 shows across North America and winning "The Comedy Act of 2021" at the People's Choice Awards.

    Fantastic

by Flat Tire Fay on 11/21/23Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

Not only were we upgraded to orchestra seats but every person working the event were so helpful and kind. As for Chelsea Handler, I’ve been following her since before she got famous. Seeing her in person was spectacular! There is no one else who even comes close to Chelsea besides Dave Chapelle. I am a seriously loyal fan and will always will be. Chelsea Handler never disappoints! The whole experience was great.

    Disappointed

by CB on 11/21/23Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

I saw her last year at the same venue, and she was absolutely hysterical. I was entertained for the entire show. This year I felt the material was not as funny and also very repetitious. I purchased tickets for five other people as a Christmas gift to them so I was slightly embarrassed

    Belly of laughs

by Mercy2498 on 11/21/23Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

Chelsea kept the crowd going from the minute she walked on stage. You could hear her perfectly on every joke. When it was over i couldn’t believe how much time had gone by! Definitely a must see!

    Show Stunk

by Josh on 11/21/23Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

Show stunk, took forever to get to punchlines and the material relied on pandering to the crowd for cheers instead of actually being funny. Opener was great, headliner was very disappointing. She pointed out a sleeping guy in the crowd and I can't blame him.

Chelsea Handler was great. The venue was not so great.

by MB on 11/21/23Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

I enjoyed the show …. But there were too many distractions. There was a rowdy group in our section that made it incredibly difficult to hear and the security was only providing warnings throughout the entire show. They didn’t escort them out until the end of the show. The ushers were walking around the whole time and would help if you asked them for help but they did nothing to quiet ppl down or stop them from standing in the isles and talking to friends … overall very distracting.

    Excited but mostly disappointed

by Jeez! on 11/21/23Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

Was looking forward to Chelsea but was a bit disappointed. While she had some really funny material, she stayed on topic way too long. It would have been a bit better if she had some quick hits off topic during her life story.

    The BEST

by CMC on 11/20/23Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

My son and I both felt uplifted after leaving the show. We felt like we witnessed real artistry and off the charts talent. As a woman I FELT EMBOLDENED, and more empowered to be myself. From family dynamics, sexuality, dog love, and drugs her material is relatable and off the charts hysterical. Go see Chelsea Handler. You won’t ever forget.

    Chelsea Handler

by Lauri on 11/19/23Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

Chelsea was great (no surprise!) but the show started nearly 30 minutes later than official start time. Many people walked in 15-25 min past start time on ticket so we were thinking we missed the memo…lol Anyways, wish we’d known; we would have waited to sit down in those cramped seats!

    Too long

by Sammy on 11/17/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Chelsea was on fire. Show was a bit too long and Paramount Theater needs big screens. I was up in the nosebleeds and Chelsea looked like she was 6 years old

    Honest?

by Rs on 11/15/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I give alot of cresit to comedians who need to present a show. It must be exhausting and frustrating to keep the entertainment good. There were funny parts for her show. The show was bascially different parts of her life story. The crowd seemed to enjoy it. It is not my favorite show and would not see her again. Side note: The venue seats are tiny and the rows are so cramped. Not at all comfortable.

    I heard that coming

by BF on 11/15/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

My biggest critique is I could finish every single sentence for her. I’ve heard every single story line she told before with no variation, I was shocked. I am not a super fan and have never been to her comedy show before, I only listen to her podcast Dear Chelsea. I came in not knowing what to expect and I was just really surprised story after story when I was like oh yeah I’ve heard this before. The opener was great though.

    Kinda Boring

    by @pnworange on 11/14/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Chelsea was not at her best. Over an hour of her talking about …exploring her nether-regions…we thought the opener was funnier. Wish it would have been more engaging or relation.

    Little Big Pikachu

by Scott on 11/14/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Too much focus on the memories of her childhood pikachu - lost interest. Once Chelsea moved on from the pikachu, it got funnier.
