ARMIN VAN BUUREN IN CONCERT:
EDM fans have spoken, and veteran Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren is their king. As one of the most popular trance DJs in the world, Van Buuren has topped DJ Magazine's fan poll a record five times, virtually dominating dance music with his unprecedented run at the top of the list from 2007-2010. Following the 2013 release of his fifth album Intense, Van Buuren is once again entrancing fans around the world with his prismatic live shows on the 2014 Armen Only: Intense tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Leiden, Netherlands, Armin Van Buuren began DJing while at university, eventually putting his law degree on hold to pursue music full time. He made his first UK chart appearance at just 19 with "Blue Fear," climbing the charts again several years later with "Communication." By 2001, Van Buuren's marathon sets had earned him a spot on DJ Magazine's Top-100 list, setting the stage for the launch of his hugely popular State of Trance radio show. While his skills as a producer were highlighted on his 2003 full-length debut 76, it was 2008's Imagine that really broke the mold — the album peaked at No. 1 in the Netherlands, a first for a dance music artist in Dutch music history.

When I first arrived, it sounded like typical club music and I was a little disappointed. But then I realized that he was just waiting for everyone to come in and get warmed up, and soon enough, was dropping sick beats and mixes for hours straight. It was a completely incredible experience and would do it again in a heartbeat.
I would definitely do it again, but I would bring more people with me next time. I had my own space to hang out in and do my thing.
Wow just wow. I knew he was number 1 in the world, and he proved it last night. Glow does it again. Can't wait till the next show.
Armin brought a great show and an awesome set. The lights were crazy, my friends and i enjoyed ourselves.
After the first 30 mins of his show our entire body was hurting from all the jumping and body-rumbling bass. Armin is truly one of the best DJ's in the game.

Armin puts on an amazing show. The energy in the crowd was also unbelievable.
The best night of my life. I dont know how to describe it it was just awesome. Special thanks to club glow for throwig this party. U guys rock! Unbelievable lighting & sounding system. Everything came together to make this a special night! Cant wait to see him next time <3
The concert, Armin, lights, people everything was a great experience!! Had soo much fun!!
I first drove up from Richmond, VA to the D.C. Armory show with Tiesto in April and loved everything about the venue. Great sound in there, and of course Tiesto stole the show. This time I went for Armin and took advantage of the VIP seats since I had recent back surgery... and I was surprised you could still feel 85% of the bass up there!!! The lights and fog and all the other show stuff were all great. Great sound and plenty of walking-around room for nearly 10K people at both shows. Not sure why the VIP pass was $20-$25 more/ticket just to be able to sit down but I needed it so I had to pay it; and at least Armin was close by from the seated area!!! Great parking, too!!! COME BACK, ARMIN!!!
The music was awesome, but the set up and light show could have been a lot better for such a big event. At the back of the Armory you felt like you were disconnected from the party. Bathrooms were pretty clean and kept and there were plenty of drink stands so you rarely stood in line. Opens played warm-up music which makes me want to wait to arrive to the next party when the main event starts.
It was incredible Armin is amazing. The whole time I was having the time of my life. It reminded me how Miami is.
Great job Glow, DC and all of this weekends artists. I was running into people all over the city all weekend long there for Glow and having a great time.
This was flat out the greatest night of my life. I would give everything I have to see him again. Nothing is life will be as good as that night. When I get married and my wife asks me if this is the greatest night of my life I will be honest and say "No, Armin Van Buuren 6 hour set was"
Freaking awesome concert! Excellent music, amazing light show!
i've seen this guy play many times. this one of the best sets i've seen him play. if you don't know who he is, this guy is considered one of the best (if not the best) trance and progressive DJs on the planet. he's not only an extremely smooth DJ in terms of mixing prowess, but it's his energy. he has a smile on his face the entire time and is always energetic till the last moment! he's a man who loves what he does and feeds that energy right into your eyes and ears! as for the venue, the d.c. armory...it's a gorgeous and really large venue. the only issue is that they never have a coat check there...so in the winter, best to either drive and park there or get a cab. getting a cab on the way out is difficult when everybody is trying to leave!
Armin, as always, put on an amazingly energetic set! It may have been the best electronic music show I've ever seen in America!
Been waiting to see him for over 6 years and it was well worth it! If he is ever close to me again, I will go and see him. It was just insane!
WITHOUT A DOUBT the best live show I've ever been to. Armin's whole set was perfect, and being right up front at the very end for In and Out of Love and This Light Between Us was absolutely like nothing else I have ever experienced. I still get goosebumps watching the videos.
Armin definitely brought the energy. He got the crowd up and ready to rage. They didn't want it to ever end. I know I didn't. Hours and days after the concert, I still hear his tunes and beats reminiscing through my mind. The feeling and energy was indescribable.
