EDM fans have spoken, and veteran Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren is their king. As one of the most popular trance DJs in the world, Van Buuren has topped DJ Magazine's fan poll a record five times, virtually dominating dance music with his unprecedented run at the top of the list from 2007-2010. Following the 2013 release of his fifth album Intense, Van Buuren is once again entrancing fans around the world with his prismatic live shows on the 2014 Armen Only: Intense tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born in Leiden, Netherlands, Armin Van Buuren began DJing while at university, eventually putting his law degree on hold to pursue music full time. He made his first UK chart appearance at just 19 with "Blue Fear," climbing the charts again several years later with "Communication." By 2001, Van Buuren's marathon sets had earned him a spot on DJ Magazine's Top-100 list, setting the stage for the launch of his hugely popular State of Trance radio show. While his skills as a producer were highlighted on his 2003 full-length debut 76, it was 2008's Imagine that really broke the mold — the album peaked at No. 1 in the Netherlands, a first for a dance music artist in Dutch music history.

    I have never paid so much money to see a dj where the show was over before 1am. People need to understand that the people going to these shows come from all over the states and Europe. Armins performance was ridiculous. Based on the ticket information he was supposed to be the main act. I felt like he said hi and bye. Ferry and Marcus ...as always were off the beat and disorganized. W&W was fantastic. Perhaps the best act of the night.

    Good light show, but thats about it. The music was soft and not exciting. Armin never dropped the beat. The whole entire concert sounded like an intro anticipating a good DJ. Tiesto > Armin all day everyday.

    I am a very big fan of the electronic scene and having gone to EDC and multiple other festivals and shows throughout the year I can definitely say made one of the top 3 shows I've ever been to. It left me speechless!

    At first I was skeptical of dancing by the seats, but you can dance near the seats! The lighting effects were amazing and the crowe was massive and the MUSIC was from another world. The cost was cheap if you consider how many awesome djs were playing! Thank you MSG and thank you Armin, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz , Alex Morph and W&W.
