ARCHITECTS IN CONCERT:

Over the past decade, British metalcore outfit Architects has steadily risen through the ranks to become one of the genre's most potent and revered forces. The band's socially conscious message and blistering sound come together perfectly at their live shows, where the face-melting screams and growls of frontman Sam Carter drive home pointed lyrics about the perils of religious extremism, global warming, and oceanic collapse. Ticket buyers can't help but rock out as the band thrashes through heavy-hitting anthems like "These Colours Don't Run" and "Gravedigger", making for an adrenaline-filled concert experience that does fitting justice to the band's aggressive sound.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Architects was formed in Brighton, UK in 2004 by guitarist Tom Searle and his twin brother, drummer Dan. They brought on vocalist Matt Johnson, guitarist Tim Hiller-Brook, and bassist Tim Lucas, and in 2006 they released their debut album Nightmare. Johnson left the band shortly after the album's release, and Sam Carter -- the band's current frontman -- quickly stepped in to fill his shoes. Architects lost no time with Carter, whose personal approach to songwriting marked a new direction for the band, and in 2007 they released their sophomore album Ruin. That record led to the band's first US tour, and their high-octane performances on the road helped earn them a substantial stateside fanbase. In 2008 Architects signed to Century Media Records, and in 2009 they made their debut on the label with their third album Hollow Crown. That album marked their first appearance on the UK Albums Chart -- a feat they would repeat with their next three albums, including 2014's Lost Forever // Lost Together, which peaked at No. 16. A bone-shattering live act known for their heavy sound and Carter's melodic roar, Architects continues to deliver sweltering performances on tour.

Amazing !! What a great band. The crowd was electric. They sound as good live as the recorded material. If not better. Go check Architects out. You won’t be disappointed. Great show.

  • Sick show

by JT on 5/14/24House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Architects put on a sick show. Vocals and visuals were on point. The pit was unadulterated chaos in the best way possible.

  • Holy Mother of God

by Mephi on 5/14/24House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle BeachRating: 5 out of 5

The lineup, consisting of Architects, Of Mice & Men, and While She Sleeps was beyond amazing. Typically the crowd during a concert like this, usually save their energy for the main act, in this case Architects. However, the crowd in this case was at 100% for the ENTIRE 4 hours! The bands were superb, encouraging and engaging their audience. The music was masterfully played by all three bands. Holy Mother of God was this an awesome show. 10/10 would recommend.

First time seeing Architects. The lighting, sound, venue was incredible. We bought VIP so we were up on the balcony and got a great view of the entire concert.

  • Seriously the best show

by Carson on 5/9/24Citizens House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I've been listening to architects since 2015, it wasnt until 2024 that I got to see them, my expectations were high, and the show STILL blew them out of the water. Everything about it was phenomenal from the performance, to the lighting, to the crowd. 10/10 will attend another architects show.

  • Amazing!

by Ahna on 5/9/24Citizens House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Architects sounded exactly the same live. I’d definitely see them again & get a vip upgrade if available. Loved them for a couple of years and I’m so glad I finally got to see them live!

  • Long-awaited

  • Wonderful show

by Sam on 5/8/24MTELUS - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

The show was incredible, the lights were giving a good visual effect, the sound was clear( but It could’ve been a little bit louder ) While she sleeps, of mice & man and architects were all incredible, the crowd was going crazy and you could feel the energy of everyone because of the size of the theater. The only thing I could complain about was that it was a little hot inside, but even then it only made the experience more immersive !!! 10/10 would see again, just not dressed as hot as I was last time

  • Great bands ok sound

by C on 5/19/19The Fillmore Philadelphia presented by Cricket Wireless - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

I loved the show but had to only give 4 stars. The sound was not as good as it could have been. The sound for the vocals was not loud enough or the sound for the instruments was too loud. Other than that it was a great time!

  • Thy art is murder

by Greg on 5/6/19House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5
