Arcángel is a reggaetón and Latin trap pioneer who has scored six Top 10s on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. The Dominican hitmaker, who grew up primarily in Puerto Rico, is known for performing on what is widely considered the first Latin trap track, 2007’s “El Pistolón,” which features De la Ghetto and the reggaeton duo Yaga y Mackie. Creating industry buzz with his collaborations with Bad Bunny, J Balvin and Eladio Carrión, Arcángel would earn his first Latin Grammy nomination with 2021’s, Los Favoritos 2.5. His eighth release, 2022’s Sr. Santos, was named one of Billboard’s best Latin albums of the year. In February 2023, Arcángel sold out seven consecutive shows at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, which drew over 100,000 fans and set the stage for his much-anticipated Just In Time Tour.

Highly recommend to anyone who truly likes real reggaeton/trap music. He came out singing some new music but after 4 songs he made it clear that we were moving into now the music that everyone came to listen. Hearing him play all the hits he put out the last 20 years brought me back to my teenage years. My favorite part was his connection with the fans. He knows how to engage with us and makes you feel appreciated when many artist feel like they are doing you a favor. First time seeing him but I promise it won’t.

The seats have every time less leg space; everyone in the row has to literally stand up so you can scoot in to your seat. They stopped selling drinks, and i mean even water, before 1030 when show is not over yet. Payne arena needs to do alot better. Now that Bert Ogden Arena is available no good artist should perform at Payne, in my opinion.

Arcángel, is a great artist, however the performance has some room for improvement. I understand most singers are choosing to do playback nowadays but that diminishes from the excitement provided by the artist.

And they end up in seats they did not pay for because the user could not stop 10 people at a time for passing at one time.. it’s not the ushers it’s the crowd that act like animals. Every usher I talked to directed me correctly and in manner.

Regretful
by Jose on 8/29/23Rating: 2 out of 5the sound check was maybe a total of 4 minutes in which the opening act sang one song and then Arcangel played one of his songs and pretended to sing it only to cut it half way to say thank you for coming . We were then taking to his meet and greet which was the only enjoyable experience for me aside from the food and drinks in the vip lounge. He proceeded to drink more than 8 glasses of champagne on stage during the concert ( he was noticeably drunk) and I couldn't bare it anymore after 45 minutes so i left. Not to mention that the opening act was on the side of the stage basically helping him sing his own songs which was very annoying. I began to question who I came to see perform . I wouldn't recommend spending anymore than 25$ for a ticket or not even paying for it at all. You might enjoy seeing footage on someones story more than going to this concert.
