ARCADE FIRE IN CONCERT:
Arcade Fire are the undisputed poster band of indie rock's ascendancy in the musical mainstream, proving with each successive album that it's possible to be both a critical darling and a populist favorite. For 2013's Reflektor, the band teamed up with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem to record their most ambitious collection of songs yet, topping charts — and critics' best-of lists — around the world. As revered for their frenzied live shows as they are for their records, the band has fans eagerly awaiting the 2014 Reflektor Tour, which includes headlining slots at Coachella and Glastonbury.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
" Had heard so much about how electrifying their live performances were. It wasn't hype. This band puts it all out on the stage. I'll see them again...and again...and again!”
" A huge fan of Arcade Fire and they did not disappoint. Absolutely love their presence. The show was unbelievable."
" The show was amazingly energetic! It was without a doubt one of the best shows I've ever seen."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
When Arcade Fire released their debut full-length Funeral in 2004, critics hailed it as an instant classic, heaping big praise — and even bigger expectations — on the Canadian art rockers. The band delivered on the hype, topping charts around the world in 2007 with Neon Bible and again in 2010 with Suburbs, dark horse winner of Album of the Year at the 2011 Grammy Awards. In 2013 the band released Reflektor to yet another No. 1 spot on the BIllboard 200, also making time amid their busy touring schedule to provide the score for Spike Jonze's film Her.

Arcade Fire put on a great show!! It was everything I expected and more.
Arcade Fire hands dow one of the most talented bands out there. Seen them before...did not disappoint this either...But...seats in 100 level being given away due to Butler allegations, and we paid way more for 300 level. We did get upgraded to 100 level seats but still paid much more...doubt Ticket master will compensate...would be cool if they did. Five out of Five performance.
Visually appealing and very talented musicians. Great show.
So the band, canceled their opener Beck, hired a substitute and they didn’t even show up or play! Arcade Fire then goes on at 9:30! Pretty lame experience. If refunds were available we would have taken that.
I should preface this review by saying that I was given these tickets last second and am not a huge Arcade Fire fan. Not because I think their music is bad, but because I think it is just ok. I went to the concert with a friend and we were both very underwhelmed to the point where we left after 45 minutes. The Scotia centre was maybe half full at max and the energy was very low. The band, which were funny and engaging at times, ultimately failed to spark excitement. They did very little audience interaction, the audio was muffled, and we were just bored.
I was in GA for both nights. The sound on the 2nd night in the pit was as though there were no speakers in front of us. I could hear people talking beside me throughout the show. Near the end it was like they turned on the sound. A little disappointing.
The show started at 9:30 pm and was still going well after 11 pm. The set list had something for everyone. The sound was very good and we enjoyed the show,
They played all the popular songs, I danced the whole time, cool light show, good energy!
Ticketmaster should offer a refund when 2/3 bands dropped out.
Fantastic light show Enjoyed centre stage experience Right beside band Fantastic atmosphere
Had me out of my seat dancing the entire time. The encore didn’t disappoint.
They really were great. Sounded amazing live. Went into the crowd a bunch of times. Régine is so talented !!!!! They all are. It was a great show.
Beck was the second band to cancel touring with them. Unfortunately I found out late and watched the show in a two thirds empty arena. Beck’s replacement was completely sub-par. Arcade Fire’s peaked on the first album. SAVE YOUR $$$ and avoid Arcade Fire concerts.
Really enjoyed the Arcade Fire show! The sound was great, the set they had was really eye catching and the venue worked well. So happy to be back watching live music again!
This would be the third time I've seen arcade fire. The first two were amazing ( both in BC) . The venues I saw them at turned my world into a fantasy land. This time at Rogers place in Edmonton I was pretty let down. Aside from the stage they had two small tvs on either side of the stage and a disco ball. No jumbo- Tron for the rest of the audience to be able to see and no aerial camera view to be projected on said tvs or jumbo-tron. Basically if you didn't have floor seats you couldn't see anything. The arena should be making each seat in Rogers place a wonderful experience. Also, the sound system could use some TLC.
Went with a large group. We had been excited to see Beck as well. We knew nothing about the replacement opening band and they never showed up. So a dude spun tunes for an hour & a half. Then the big show: Arcade Fire was high energy with an amazing light show as expected. But the sound was muddy, not sure what the deal was there. Might have been the huge projector boxes at the opposite end of the arena. Anywhere close to them & they could have been breaking up the sound. I’m an old school fan from their very first album & felt the setlist favored their newest album which is easily their worst. Overall experience 2 1/2 stars out of 5. That’s 4 times I’ve seen them and likely my last. Such a shame for such a good band.
Arcade Fire never disappoints! Fantastic show! Great crowd engagement, fantastic mix of songs from all of their albums. They did a great cover tune. Every set list on this tour has been different. Awesome show from an incredibly talented band!
Arcade fire was absolutely stunning! Sad there was no fiest or beck. But, that happens.
So great! Every song, the interaction with fans, dual stages. They all sang their hearts out and so did I!!
The show was so bad I left after arcade Fire played 3 songs , the opening bands where so bad it hurt my head …
