ARCADE FIRE IN CONCERT:
Arcade Fire are the undisputed poster band of indie rock's ascendancy in the musical mainstream, proving with each successive album that it's possible to be both a critical darling and a populist favorite. For 2013's Reflektor, the band teamed up with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem to record their most ambitious collection of songs yet, topping charts — and critics' best-of lists — around the world. As revered for their frenzied live shows as they are for their records, the band has fans eagerly awaiting the 2014 Reflektor Tour, which includes headlining slots at Coachella and Glastonbury.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
" Had heard so much about how electrifying their live performances were. It wasn't hype. This band puts it all out on the stage. I'll see them again...and again...and again!”
" A huge fan of Arcade Fire and they did not disappoint. Absolutely love their presence. The show was unbelievable."
" The show was amazingly energetic! It was without a doubt one of the best shows I've ever seen."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
When Arcade Fire released their debut full-length Funeral in 2004, critics hailed it as an instant classic, heaping big praise — and even bigger expectations — on the Canadian art rockers. The band delivered on the hype, topping charts around the world in 2007 with Neon Bible and again in 2010 with Suburbs, dark horse winner of Album of the Year at the 2011 Grammy Awards. In 2013 the band released Reflektor to yet another No. 1 spot on the BIllboard 200, also making time amid their busy touring schedule to provide the score for Spike Jonze's film Her.

Unequal concert overall, sound quality was pretty bad and kinda ruined the experience. It improved a little by the end of the concert and the vibe overall was worth it, always great to see one of the best bands of the scene!
Best show I’ve ever seen! The visuals by Moment Factory were incredible. The band’s energy was awesome! So happy I went to see this show!
We sat across from the concert above and behind the band and the standing area. The lighting on the band members was awful. I kept asking where the singers were on stage. Also there was no decor on stage except for the word WE in front of the band. This was the worst concert I have been to by AC ever. We have seen them 4 times.
Would have liked to see Win at least acknowledge the swirling accusations but this was a sensational night. The band were on fire and giving everything. Such a privilege to be there. Long live Arcade Fire
Great show. Lots of talent on that stage! Great music.
The band was very generous, they offer us a great set list. The two stages was a great idea. Regine was fabulous. It was cool to see the band come out of stage and came across the fan through the stair.
Really not happy with the way ticketmaster and the assurance treat me. The show was weird and i have no interest to go there after the allegation. But its all about the money.. The client is second.
Arcade Fire show was great! Lots of lights, interactive, and they seemed to love the fans!! high fives and hugs as they entered from the floor opposite end of the stage. I was upset that Beck Pulled out, and wished they stayed as we were excited to see the double bill!! We skipped the first band opener Boukman E. Would probably see arcade again!
The best band ever and a live performance that can never be matched by anyone else. It’s raw, intense and send shivers down your spine. One of a kind band!
they really gave it their all, there were surprises throughout, and the encore really felt like something special, a gift for their hometown after a long tour. Was definitely a vibe
I would not go back to the bell center for a concert. For a $140 ticket the experience was quite disappointing. It seems like the folks downstairs had a nice time, but the constant reminder of the segregation of who is allowed to “have fun” because they are willing to pay more is a thought too disappointing for me to hold during a music experience meant to bring me higher. The best time I had in the concert was when I closed my eyes to enjoy the music and attempt to forget where I was. Arcade was nice. Boukman would’ve been outstanding if more of us had been able to share our energy with the artists by being closer to them. Should’ve spent my money on local artists and a better venue.
It was an amazing concert. They are wonderful performers!
Émotion, generosity and passion on the two stage Was the best show ever I saw..
As a long time super fan, I bought tickets for 177$ When the show was first announced. The week before the concert I could have paid 30$ to sit on the floor. There should be a refund or resell option. I won’t be paying for another show at the bell center or for arcade fire. The lead singer made some mistakes but it shouldn’t affect us all.
The show was amazing! Arcade Fire always deliver and they made no exception Saturday!
I enjoyed, my buddy and I had a great night thanks.
I purchased tickets to this event as a gift for my husband’s 50th birthday. I chose the seats I did for the quality of sound (being a little more back & center) and that they were located close to stage 2. The band was amazing! However, the view from our seats was obstructed by what I believe to be lighting equipment. Nowhere in purchasing did it mention an obstructed view. And with paying $548.85 for 2 tickets, I would assume great seats, let alone an unobstructed view. Needless to say, after driving four hours to get to this event to celebrate a special occasion, we were highly disappointed.
Boycotted the concert- you know why- ate 4 tickets-couldn't give them away. TM wouldn't let me. I love this group but the ladies in this group couldn't accept the current issue, and I support them. I'm extremely disappointed.
They put on a great show, but the show should have been cancelled. It was very eerie being in half filled stadium. The vibe and underlying tone of the show was very sad. Feeling like Win was apologizing to the crowd constantly, and thanking you just for showing up. In the end you felt a little 'dirty' being there, like if you're there you are/were supporting Win's actions. Yet there are other band member and folks that help put on this kind of production, that go into being Arcade Fire. It took about half the show to kind of get into it, but then you kept on wondering how him and Regine are even playing next to each other, or if everyone is just trying to get through this tour. You felt like you shouldn't have been there. What I can't understand, is that for fully sold out shot, how Scotia Bank was fully aware that all but two sections of the upper bowl would be empty? Was ticketmaster providing refunds secretly to some or half of the venue?
