Really enjoyed the April Wine/Aldo Nova/Honeymoon Suite concert this past weekend. It was awesome to take this trip down memory lane! We had great seats and the sound was really good. It was an amazing performance from all three bands.
Would have not purchased if we had known the lead singer had quit back after we purchased our tickets. Give them credit but it wasn't the same. Some voices you just can't remake.
Venue was great. Easy to get to.Plenty of parking. Easy leaving venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Honeymoon suite and Aldo Nova put on a great show. April Wine put on one hell of a show. The guys didnt miss a beat. All the original members of the bands did an awesome job. Even though they were older. Close my eyes and it was like i was back in high school. Thanks guys!
Was solid, song placement seemed a bit weird and holy cow they were just way to loud!
BEST SHOW that I've seen in a long time! Wishing it was longer, such GREAT SONGS and the sound of all 3 bands were GREAT 👍 RECOMMEND EVERYONE CATCH THIS ONE !!

Great concert. Only thing was if was hard to see them even though I was 4 rows from the stage due to people standing up and being rude and pushing me around I'm assuming it's because I was younger than them. I'm only 35 and most people there was In there 50s and 60s.
First time at this venue, and went well for the most part, great sound, easy access to vending , bathrooms only drawback was long lines for merchandise.
Fantastic Awesum$$ see what I did there. Wouldn’t it be great if somewhere the fans along with the artist/band do like an all nighter into the rising sun event with breakfast buffet! Killer!
Aldo Nova opened, very good. April Wine is an extraordinary group of musicians!!! Vocals were amazing.. very impressive.
I was really sad to hear that Myles wasn't touring with April Wine anymore but the show went on and it was still great. The new guy embraced the role, clearly enjoyed it and so did we all. Aldo Nova and Honeymoon Suite were fantastic as well, a little icing on the April Wine cake.
April Wine put on a great show but the sound was way too loud for the arena at St Charles. April Wine had a new lead singer that sounded just like the original singer and he did an excellent job.
Really just wanted to see Honeymoon suite. They opened but only played for 40 minutes. Would have been one star but they did start on time and they were the first band. We traveled all the way from Atlanta for this show. Very disappointing.

Great new vocalist Marc Parent replaced Myles Goodwin. We also got to see Brian Greenway shredding his lead guitar at 71 years young and an appearance by Jerry Mercer on the drums for 3 songs during the encore.
Took my father and two of my best friends to the show at Corona Theatre and the energy and fun we felt from the band was enormous. The group had some good crowd work in between songs and had some amazing moments, particularly during their hits (which is like 80% of their generously long setlist). However, as the show went on, there were too many instances where we all looked at each other and asked "what's wrong with the sound?" Guitars mixed to the stratosphere, bass and drums creating a distorted muffled mess, vocals sometimes inaudible. It felt like we were witnessing a garage band jam sess at times, to be honest. Also, it seems that the band also lost their stamina towards the encore of their set and started playing out of time, which was unprecedented to witness from an ensemble of veteran musicians. But, other than the sound and the small mistakes in performance, overall it was a fantastic show and a great time, definitely recommend catching April Wine live before they officially retire.
We had to stand up, no place to go , we was not agreeing to stand beside the baluster the security ask us to move and we said where do you want we go ??
With the latest rookie addition Marc Parent April Wine did not miss a beat. The appearance of ex drummer Gerry Mercer was a pleasant surprise. His Encore performance was the perfect ending to an Awesome night of solid Rock. 84 years young and Gerry can still play those skins. I’ve already purchased my tickets to their October show in Ottawa. Thanks for another memorable night. Rock and Roll is a Vicious Game
What an unbelievable show. All-star musicianship from everyone, all the songs the fans wanted to hear were played and the audience interaction was top notch. They ripped through hits including Enough Is Enough, Could Have Been A Lady, Fast Train, All Over Town and Sign Of The Gypsy Queen. Roy Nichol behind the kit is incredible to see, as is original member Brian Greenway. Then came the biggest surprise of all, when 84-year-old Jerry Mercer was brought out in the encore to play Say Hello and Roller. To say that Jerry has still got it is an understatement. In what was likely Jerry's final live performance, he definitely left it all on the stage. True rock history, an unforgettable night.
