What an amazing show!! Anthony has a great set and plenty of laughs for everyone! I would definitely go see him again as this time I bought 14 tickets!!

  • Best show ever!!!!!!!!

by DanielAndAmanda on 5/9/13Lincoln Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This was a dream come true for both my wife and I. We are both huge fans, and Jeselnik didn't disappoint us. His dark comedy is what we look forward to on Tuesday nights, and my wife has been talking about seeing him live since before I surprised her with the tickets. If you have the chance to see Anthony live, please go!! You will not be disappointed. Offended - maybe; disappointed - no chance!

  • Old Material--disappointing.

by Anonymous on 5/7/13The Pageant - St. LouisRating: 2 out of 5

1/4 = New Material 1/4 = Crowd Interaction 1/2 = Old Material from not only his last special Caligula, but even his 2010 show Shakespeare. Even though I am a fan, I will not see him again. I would only recommend this to those who aren't familiar with his material in general.

I feel guilty about laughing so hard...kind of. His opening act wasn't that great but he was worth the wait.

Half of his routine was just old recycled jokes. I paid for half a show of new material.

  • As hilarious as the show, and almost as long

by DCBooks on 5/6/13Lincoln Theatre - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Great show, but not a very long set. The new material was great, but with a good portion of older material in a pretty short set.

  • by Anonymous on 5/6/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

We were hoping for a little longer of a show (45 min. For Anthony), with a little bit more new material.

  • His show was better last year

    by Sc4mp on 5/6/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

One-third new material One-third old material One-third crowd interaction Saw him last year at the Funny Bone and most of what he did was from Shakespeare. Was expecting him to do material from Caligula this time, but there was still an awful lot of Shakespeare mixed into this show which was disappointing. Crowd interactions were good but got pretty repetitive after a while. He apologized for trying some new material, but it was good and one of the better parts of the evening. Too bad it only lasted five minutes. I think he was on for about an hour. If this were anyone else I probably would give three stars, but he's my favorite comic right now so he gets the bonus star.

  • Anthony was funny as h*ll

by MJBoo on 5/6/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

This is the first time I've seen Anthony live, but I did regularly watch his show on Comedy Central and I have seen him on many a celebrity roasts, so I knew what to expect. And I can honestly say he did not disappoint. I didn't stop laughing his whole set and I will definitely see him again!

A must see. The show was great, plenty of laughs . I'm a big fan of comedy and this guy definitely is one of my favorites. His sarcasm and dark humor are Some of the best.

This was a great show! Jeselnik was awesome and his opening act was great. I would highly recommend his stand up to all who love comedy. Caveat: If you are too sensitive and don't take a joke for a joke then I wouldn't recommend Anthony for you. He is brilliant but you have to understand his comedy genre.

  • Jeaelnik

    by berniemac22 on 5/6/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! He is one funny SOB. He even did some St. Louis comedy... His only downfall is he is a king's fan, Let's go Blues!!!!

  • Jeselnik was hilarious as usual

by DandJBaker on 5/6/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

My fiancé and I are huge fans! I bought the tickets as a surprise for him and when Jeselnik walked out on stage he was like a little kid and couldn't help but keep exclaiming "oh wow this is so cool". I bought tickets late so was afraid we wouldn't have seating and there would be SRO but we got there early enough we got the perfect spot! As far as the show itself it was hilarious however 1/3-1/2 of the material was older but it was nice hearing it live. I would definitely go back if I had the chance! Great show!

  • Hilariously Crude: Classic Jeselnik

  • Waste of Time & Money

by Anonymous on 5/4/13Lincoln Theatre - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

If I knew I was paying to see Caligula all over again, I would've stayed home and replayed it from my DVR.

  • Classic Jeselnik

by MaseFromDel on 5/4/13Lincoln Theatre - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Show started way early. He was on stage by 8 & off by 9. New material was funny as well as the interaction with the audience, however, there were a lot of jokes from the Caligula special. If you are going to complain that you've heard something before, take the money and buy the DVD, but if you want to see a decent comedy show live, it's worth the mere $25.

  • Excellent delivery - superb dark humor

by Sam413 on 2/25/13Terry Fator Theatre at Mirage Hotel and Casino - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Brilliant. I watch the roasts, the show and think the material is great. Even with hecklers, excellent delivery. Check this comedian out.

  • New Years Eve - Fun, but They Are Better Than This

by BoninonNewYear on 1/8/13SF Masonic Auditorium - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

It was a fun way to celebrate New Years Eve. We will likely try to do a comedy show next year. Anthony & Amy were good, but have seen them typically much better on TV. If you go to see Anthony, be prepared for his type of comedy. If you are offended, then shame on you for not doing your homework...or never watching TV...it's your own fault.
