Anthony Hamilton Background
Before getting his Grammy and churning out hits like "Charlene" and "Can't Let Go," Anthony Hamilton started singing from a young age and got his start in the church choir. Hamilton was born on January 28th, 1971, and is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina -- a core influence of his Southern neo-soul musical style. Hamilton also draws his musical influences from R&B greats, including Michael Jackson. After moving to New York City in the 1990s and moving between record labels, Hamilton finally created a name for himself with his fourth album in 2003, which featured the musical hit "Charlene." Hamilton's influence extends beyond music into the public sphere through his speaking and advocacy opportunities as a CASA spokesperson, which allows him to raise awareness about the foster care system.

Never disappointed! Always entertaining and soulful! He's family! #detroitlove ❤️
Horrible!!! Awful sound, stage change 20 minutes or more without curtain closed curtain open. Left halfway through show
Vivian Green looked amazing, put on a wonderful show, the sound was awful… Did they do a sound check at all? Robin Thicke was off the hook, full of energy great show…. Just wish I could have heard the actual vocals, cuz he was singing!!! Anthony Hamilton…. WOW!!! Excellent Show!!! The background group was bomb!!! When are the dropping a project? The sound had finally improved by the time they came on, so overall I had a great time but for the FOX the sound sucked.
Loved the concert , everyone did a wonderful job . Very entertaining
Anthony always gives good energy. He's humble and gives a great show.
Concert was over too soon. Having so many songs, it would've better had they stuck to THEIR songs & if the band wasn't louder than the singers. On my paid R&B night out, PLEASE, LEAVE OUT CHURCH SVC, PLEASE!!!
Anthony Hamilton never disappoints. He understands the assignment every time. His energy and effort is always on point. 🔥I saw The Ton3s!! Such a treat that elevated the show. Robin Thicke, I'd see again in a heartbeat. Consummate performer. I hate his act was cut short. Vivian sounded amazing. Overall this lineup was a winner.
I loved the concert! Vivian did her thing, Robin Thicke was the best in my opinion, BUT when Anthony came on stage and sang my jam, "Amazing,"I was so excited! I loved them all! We had a great time, floor seats!
Great performance! Would see this again if I could.
The concert started on time which is always surprising. The opening act Jadon Giuseppe was very good, had to look him might be an artist to add in music library. Vivian Green is so cute, amazing voice and very entertaining. Then there’s Anthony Hamilton, what’s to say he’s a performer and artist and he gives a show. Anthony has so many hits I wish he could have performed more of them, but the ones he did perform were awesome. I saw him on the Maxwell cruise in February and I swear he performed more songs there then he did at his own concert. Maybe I just love his voice and energy and didn’t want it to stop too soon. Overall awesome show beginning to end.
I had the best time ever I always love seeing Anthony Hamilton performances. The show was EPIC
Just a little upset when people standing up in front of you when everyone else what sitting down and when you try to be nice to ask them to sit, some people got a little belligerent, That's the only problem I had with the whole ordeal but the concert was great
The concert was very excellent very joyful all the songs I wanted to hear
The concert was remarkable as well as the environment. Anthony Hamilton and Vivan Green performance was extremely enjoyable and rememberable I look forward to going to see more performances from these artist
Had a great time at this concert. Jadon from American idol was the opener and has a great voice. He warmed up the crowd for Vivian green. Unfortunately, Vivian was rushed through her set but was great. Finally Anthony came out and the crowd went crazy. He started out with hit after hit and kept the crowd mostly on their feet. He was a great showman and sounded great. Would see him again
I love everything about Anthony Hamilton his soulful voice really moves me. Disappointed he did not play my favorite song of his “Do You Feel Me”. He should partner back up with Fantasia, that is the show I was looking for. Vivian Green played the only two bangers I know by her, beautiful voice. Unfortunately the young Jadon Giuseppe was like bad karaoke. He was better with his own material but when you’re new on the scene you shouldn’t really do ballads, we don’t know you like that. Even the cover songs were too slow. Experience should help.
Show was Excellent but Anthony Hamilton didn't preform long enough for me.
The concert was awesome I will go see Anthony Hamilton any time he comes to Chicago he puts on an awesome show.
This was the perfect Valentines Day surprise from my wife! Anthony Hamilton was great, as were the openers. Just an overall great night at EagleBank Arena.
Instead of the artist singing their best songs they was singing other artists songs. Newsflash we came to see you not the ones that made a way for you. I just was in disbelief really
